I actually have a few sticks of beeswax from a honey operation up in Ithaca, NY -- best thing ever for stubborn zippers or snaps. Also baby-safe; when my niece and nephew were born I gave them several sticks for all of the zippery snappy things that small humans' clothing seems to ensue.

Hey, speaking of movies, just saw a movie called Louie Bluie, a documentary about the fiddler in the last remaining African American string band. It was directed by Terry Zwigoff. The guy (Howard Armstrong) was also an artist, raconteur, and played some other instruments. He was so funny and talented and entertaining. And the movie was really well made. (on the Crit.)

I saw Voivod at the Diamond Ballroom in OKC. They rocked, best concert I ever saw. I met the entire band, they just came and hung out with the crowd! Capacity crowd is 2200, only 400 people there. I could watch from VERY close or further away. Prong sucked. just loudloudloudyellyellyell. ug. Voivod was VARIED and INTERESTING!
