Pedro in Arlington:

Only recently discovered Miriam's Kinks podcast on mixcloud. Some good interviews. Mike's chat with Dave remains the gold standard.

The chorus on this Kinks tune reminds me of Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers’s ‘Nightwatchman’.

Though the previous "Schoolboys in Disgrace" is even better.

DG:

Yea on Tinted Windows! That album didn't get enough play & now there's no hope of a reunion....some good Cheap Trick/bubblegum/powerpop with a group of people you wouldn't expect to see in the same band.

I know it's a little long for your show, but the Roland Kirk version of "ISay a Little Prayer" is some kind of #1 Hit.

Hahaha....those Paul Stanley clips are all over YouTube (I assume excerpts from the audio version of his book). He trashes everyone, but I guess $$ kept them together.
