Aloha" is a word found in all Polynesian languages meaning a spirit of loving togetherness. And that is what you will get every Friday morning as a rotating crew of Sheena's Jungle Room DJs (and special guests) spin three hours of relaxing exotica in all its forms, from the primitive to the Space Age. Can we get you something from the bar?

Hello again, Vickie luv!
he hated the fireworks
Hmm, just got an FXO vibe from that last track (RIP Frank).
www.independent.co.uk...
Happy new year, all.
happy 2021
Happy 2021!
From which cartoon is that funny sample you played in one of your most recent shows which -I think- sounds like a flea walking/jumping around? I searched for the sketch in youtube but failed miserably
Welcome Vicki, back to your old stream. Yes folks, Sheena’s occupies the webspace that formally hosted the PLU /radio Boardcast stream. We’d like to thank the vicar for the use of the hall.
Happy 2021 and you are welcome to my hard drive :)
I recently made a mashup pitting KLF's "What Time Is Love?" up against Pop Will Eat Itself's "Dance Of The Mad [Bastards]".
Hi, FஃFஃ!
So here's the story:
This was back in May 2005, IIRC. The contracting firm I work for hired me and a few other coworkers to act as valets for his country club, which had just opened the first nine holes, for a couple of weekends. On the Sunday of the first weekend, we were told by our immediate supervisor at the time that "the man" himself was going to drop by to give us an "evaluation" of our progress so far. Around midday, this limo pulls in right alongside us. A window slowly opens, and sure enough, there he was, in the flesh. The first thing he has us do is introduce ourselves to him, then he tells us (and mind you, I'm just paraphrasing here), "You're all doing a TERRIFIC job. Keep up the good work." Then the limo makes it's way towards the exit.
I don't mind telling you that it was a surreal experience for me, considering that this was the same guy that, just a decade before, had lost a real estate fortune and a wife in what was considered the most expensive divorce settlement in history. And this was while he was hosting his game show "The Apprentice" and the thought of serving a term in the White House was just a gleam in his eye.
Interesting. And this also from the 'grab them by the p*ssy' era.
they were great... I saw them play live a bunch of time and it was really brilliant and funny, and very much like a band rather than just laptops or something
LOL, yes! It's a wonder Billy Bush still has any cred in the broadcast media biz!
We will quickly run out of music bands and into the corporate law firms ones.
LIKE HELL I AM NOT :)
our job is to break that!
I did these mic breaks under unusual domestic conditions
I don't know if I want to yet...
two marathon shows (eek, horror) and one joint one with KennyG
funny we went to see that show Sleep No More.. all wearing masks!
I just like to shout out his last name in "Grandpa" Al Lewis' voice, "Hyman, you genius you!"
-we just got our stimulus check (well, I’m stimulated)
- spectacular illegal fireworks show at midnight that we watched from our porch last night
- we just signed up for Hulu and the great show “Lodge 49” is available! Recommended, folks.
-PLU on Aloha Fridays
Feeling good, loookin good.
ha ha
...Baby Shark!
Sheena is live programming until 11pm Eastern today. Fun!
I don't blame you one bit. That was exactly what I was reminded of when I first heard this song.
