I remember wondering: why is it called "Hawaiian War Chant"? It's not a chant, and doesn't sound very war-like. Quite jolly, really. Turns out that it actually has an original hawaiian name that is nothing like 'Hawaiian War Chant.' Some goofy haole came up with that name. At least "Hawaiian" is correct, so it's one-third accurate.
