	🦇 ♥ 3:13pm Handy Haversack: I just moved back inside. Getting cool out there for working. I need some sort of glove I can still type in, I guess. What kind of boat, Phillippe? Motorized, I assume, but I guess how big are you looking?
	♥ 3:13pm spodiodi: almost bought a mid (or late?) 60's Lapworth GLadiator a few years back, Phillippe -- i was excited that it was heavy (being made with too much fiberglss, before they know how little glass they could actually get away with) so cheers to your spring chicken boat shopping. 30 years ago was the 90s! that's like... yesterday :)

Handy, spodiodi I need something skiff-like as the water next to my dock is less than a foot deep spring/fall and mostly mud in the winter. No lift. My budget is 6K. Was looking to stay at around 17 ft. Found as 19 ft Carolina Skiff within my budget, but it seems drastically underpowered (50 hp). That old I'd like to get something with no wood in it.

	🦇 ♥ 3:24pm Phillippe Bastille: βrian yeah, I have a 6 on my old jon boat. It's one of those old Lowes aluminum that weigh a ton, so the only wind you get in your hair when boating is when there really is wind.
	3:24pm Mr. Nobody: Hard to go wrong with a Carolina Skiff. 19 feet is a great size. The 50 is probably a bit undersized depending on what you plan on using it for and where but you might be surprised.
	3:26pm Mr. Nobody: The great thing about the Carolina Skiffs is they haven't changed their design too much. If the price is good go for it.
	🦇 ♥ 3:26pm Phillippe Bastille: @Mr Nobody Yeah, I think it would be fine with maybe me and one or two others. Unbelievably, it is Coast Guard rated for 10 people. Lots of CS to choose from around here, but Annapolis being Annapolis, prices are overinflated.
	3:27pm Mr. Nobody: Lol none of mine have been newer than 30 years old when I bought them. If it was maintained well should be good.

	3:29pm Mr. Nobody: Oh for sure. We had several that we used with the NPS down in Florida and their capacity was amazing.
	🦇 ♥ 3:29pm Phillippe Bastille: Definitely looking for something simple and cheap that won't cost a ton if the motor needs replacing or a rebuild. I'm 5 years short of retirement and a major boat expense is not in the works once that hits.

	♥ 3:32pm spodiodi: aye yi yi, Julie... birds!?... i mean (most) birds sound pleasant to me. yours always make me smile when i hear 'em. your neighbors can have my neighbor's dog here instead that is left out to bark at night and ~6am (i think he's barking at the deer)
	♥ 3:33pm xtrakrispy: I just figured out how to add these streams via TuneIn to my Onkyo receiver. Truly life changing.

	♥ 3:47pm spodiodi: and for gliders here, i've noticed a large bird of prey (i'm assuming) that's hangs out circling/hunting at different elevations -- no shortage of squirrels and other bird. i i think it MIGHT be an american eagle (did i mention i'm loking for a cheap camera?) should have some better stories/info when that happens

I have a relatively new independent cinema near me, and it’s such a nice place to be, even before you’ve seen a film.

Handy, spodiodi I need something skiff-like as the water next to my dock is less than a foot deep spring/fall and mostly mud in the winter. No lift. My budget is 6K. Was looking to stay at around 17 ft. Found as 19 ft Carolina Skiff within my budget, but it seems drastically underpowered (50 hp). That old I'd like to get something with no wood in it.

	🦇 ♥ 3:24pm Phillippe Bastille: βrian yeah, I have a 6 on my old jon boat. It's one of those old Lowes aluminum that weigh a ton, so the only wind you get in your hair when boating is when there really is wind.
	3:24pm Mr. Nobody: Hard to go wrong with a Carolina Skiff. 19 feet is a great size. The 50 is probably a bit undersized depending on what you plan on using it for and where but you might be surprised.
	3:26pm Mr. Nobody: The great thing about the Carolina Skiffs is they haven't changed their design too much. If the price is good go for it.
	🦇 ♥ 3:26pm Phillippe Bastille: @Mr Nobody Yeah, I think it would be fine with maybe me and one or two others. Unbelievably, it is Coast Guard rated for 10 people. Lots of CS to choose from around here, but Annapolis being Annapolis, prices are overinflated.
