Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:10pm

Greetings coelacanth∅, Michael and Doug! I think pumpkins may be the only entity with energy to dance today. Probably no Morricone today unless I can scare something up by the end of the show.

Hello all as well from sunny slightly breezy Vt. Nice seems to know her music. Hope you had a Happy 4th, though that's an oxymoron. The 5th. was better. Keep on Dancin' in the streets. Pumpkin or not.

Same here, sphere! It brings back memories of a summer party at Lake Mohawk, NJ when it was brand new. Surprising how it reminds me of The Mothers of Invention in some ways. And, welcome Lisa!

I wonder if Bob Irwin knows Glen Banks, an acquaintance who worked for several years with Firesign Theatre as, inter alia, a musical accompanist. In 2017 they gave him an award "For Timeless Friendship to the Firesign Theatre."

Howdy bigplanetnoise! That remastering session must've been so much fun. I had the chance to work with them when the performed a new radio play for NPR at The Knitting Factory. I still have the script somewhere. Such great guys!

Anyone remember Monty Python? Marty Feldman, John Cleese, Graham Chapman. They were a hoot. Once bumped into Marty on the street in London, while turning a corner from opposite directions. Quite a surprise and of course totally unexpected. Looked at me with his bug eyes, I at him, acknowledged each other and continued on our way. Made my day.

gongoleer, their Matching Tie and Handkerchief album was a real sneak, both sides were Side 2 and there was a double groove on one side, so the second time you played it you could pick up a different groove and hear something you had not heard before.
