“Little Records” is a two hour radio show hosted by “The Big G” focusing on the little Records, both literal and figurative. 45’s of high quality but lowly chart stature. Mostly we’ll be covering Blues, Jazz, R&B, Country and Rock & Roll, but the show is freeform so anything that’s appeared on a 45RPM record, starting with RCA’s introduction of the format in 1949 is fair game.

Avatar 8:02pm Todd-o-phonic Todd:

Phantom Of Rock is my new favorite record.
Avatar 8:06pm Todd-o-phonic Todd:

I love cover versions like Johnny Copeland's that have absolutely no passing resemblance to the original record.
  8:07pm Dungaroos Kipawah:

This Johnny Copeland version is brilliant
Avatar 8:09pm Todd-o-phonic Todd:

@Dungaroos Kipawah: You are a genius because you think like me.
  8:11pm The Big G:

Copeland knew the song always needed a floor Tom solo.
  8:13pm The Big G:

Todd, wait till you hear Pt. 2 of the rock era.
  8:17pm bigplanetnoise:

Hey and howdy! Glad to hear you here, G! And - happy birthday, Todd!!!
  8:20pm Gina Bacon:

Happy Saturday and welcome to the streamwaves!
  8:21pm The Big G:

I’m hosting a birthday party for Todd and everyone’s invited. Especially Todd!
  8:22pm Gina Bacon:

Happy Birthday, Todd!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:23pm McGroovey:

If I post "that's a great record!" every time you play a great record, it will get boring fast, so I'll just post one blanket "THAT'S A GREAT RECORD!!!!" shout.
Avatar 8:23pm Todd-o-phonic Todd:

Thanks Bob and Gina! Greg, I've already bought 2 of these 45's since the show started!
  8:26pm The Big G:

Todd, I knew it!!!!!! I could see you in my minds eye, check No availability, average price and finally pushing the “birthday button”!
  8:27pm bigplanetnoise:

Ahhh, Big G - this is so much fun! The only thing that would make it even better is if we were again eating golumpkes and drinking cold, cheap beer together in the backwoods of Pennsylvania.....
  8:29pm pinto bean:

This is awesome!
  8:29pm The Big G:

Hey BPN, refresh me! Who am I speakin’ with?
  8:29pm bigplanetnoise:

Hahahaha! Greg - it’s Bob Irwin!
  8:31pm The Big G:

Hahaha! Hey Bob!! So great to see you right before all this craziness! My last record show and now it seems like eons ago, right?
  8:32pm pinto bean:

Big G Double Crown, Saturday Night...NC always
Avatar 8:33pm Todd-o-phonic Todd:

What I'm picturing in my mind is the records arriving and none of them sounding anywhere near as good as they do on this show!
  8:33pm The Big G:

Welcome to my life Todd...
  8:34pm bigplanetnoise:

It sure does. So very strange... we’ll have to make a definite plan for 45s & BBQ in your town or mine once the world rights itself!
Avatar 8:36pm Debbie D.:

Welcome Greg!
  8:38pm The Big G:

Thanks Debbie,
I wouldn’t be here without your invite! I was missing a good time! All the best people are here! Hey Pinto Bean!
  8:41pm DJ Pat K:

  8:42pm bigplanetnoise:

Hey DJ P! Great show the other night!
  8:43pm pinto bean:

  8:50pm The Big G:

Bigplanetnoise, Bar-B-Q is the first thing I’m angling for post quarantine. Pinto Bean, The future is Female... and Tall!
