@Jake...funny you should say that because I revived a cider kick that is years expired at this point. Two decent ones I happened upon recently, at the place by my pop's, are City Roots (original) out of Mass and, just today, Black Bird Cider Works: Semi Sweet - Oak Aged out of NY state. The reason I feel like a potential derelict is (in addition to those) I also bought Rumple Minze for the first time in a decade. Yikes. It does leave one with fresh breath though!

TomDash...yeah, pretty damn good. I may try some other ones from them. I like a high ABV for cider, but still a bit of tartness. Believe it or not I loved the Angry Orchard 'Old Fashioned' before they discontinued it, and I don't care for their products much. That mofo was 6.8...which really cut through the rest and gave a nice balance. With that in mind, do you have any suggestions?

@MrPumpy: Woodchuck is the old standby and very good at that but it’s not as prevalent in NYC as it once was. You literally could go to any dumpy corner store 10 years ago and get it. Now? They are mainly available in “gourmet” corner stores.

Yeah, I LOVE this record and feel it flew a tad under the radar - Raven Mahon from Grass Widow and Mikey Young (Eddy Current, Total Control, etc) - they're a couple now and they now live together - she moved from Bay Area to Australia. Waiting for the follow up!
