Heya Adriene and dreamers.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:04pm ultradamno:

Discombobulatedly wakeful and possibly present.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:04pm full metal monkey:

Hello all
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:05pm full metal monkey:

I lucid dream all the time. This show is gonna be very cool.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:06pm listener 126464:

Hi Adriene, cheers everybody.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:07pm coelacanth∅:

greetings Adriene and all
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:11pm ultradamno:

I had dream Zoe Lister worked in a candy store and tried to help me when Alia Shawkat used ransomware to get me to kickstart her film. If I could lucid dream, I probably would have interfered with the flow. I prefer the surprise.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:18pm tim from champaign (now washington):

Hi Adriene and everybody. I'm usually aware that I'm dreaming when I dream but I don't know if I've had a true lucid dream.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:20pm full metal monkey:

With practice you can stay in the dream even when you know your dreaming. It is a thin balancing act at times.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:20pm ultradamno:

The thing that typically tips me off in a dream is when I run into somebody I know is dead
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:24pm full metal monkey:

@ultradamno. Yeah that is a strange moment. Right
Avatar 6:25pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Esoteric. I've had periods when I've kept a dream journal
...& get to where I remember more & more - all to be written down...& ended up feeling it was taking more & more time I didn't want to give it...
I find it perpetually fascinating that - when dreaming - whatever the sensorium & situation is seems utterly real & valid @ the time. So much so that when waking up - 'reality' seems odd...
  6:26pm castor:

They say you never die in dreams, but I did once, I got hit by a car. But for the rest of the dream I was a ghost living in the afterlife, which was almost exactly the same as real life except you couldn't die anymore.
  6:29pm adriene:

@castor I've nearly died in many dreams but almost always wake up. I imagine dying in a dream would be like losing consciousness of the dream. I like that you became a ghost!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:29pm full metal monkey:

@castor that’s a weird one
  6:36pm yes:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:37pm Carmichael:

If you meet a dead relative in a dream, They're trying to tell you about your future. Or another relative who is passing.
  6:37pm castor:

It was a pretty fun dream because once I realized I couldn't die anymore I did all sorts of crazy stunts. But I usually don't lucid dream unfortunately.

'There is no Time in the Unconscious.' - Jung
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:42pm ultradamno:

On the TV show Evil a character visited by a demon in a night terror wore a string around her wrist all day and made a point to look at it and take note throughout the day so that during the dream she could look at her wrist and if the string wasn't there she would know it was a dream. I have no idea if this would work.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:43pm Ken From Hyde Park:

I like how Aboriginal Australians had their dreamtime.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:45pm Carmichael:

We Irish have innumerable superstitions about dreams and their meanings.
Avatar 6:47pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

There were the Druidic people before even the Celts...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:48pm dale:

this is the best thing right here.....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:48pm Carmichael:

And the Saxons. And the Norse. And the Romans. And every other Tom, Dick and Harry passed through on their way to somewhere.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:52pm Handy Haversack:

I haven't been paying as much attention as this hour deserves -- stuff ongoing -- but I have been enjoying it a ton.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:53pm coelacanth∅:

beings that i know are dead enter my dreams very frequently, and more often than not i know they are dead, but we're hanging out anyway. i'm often sad in these dreams because i know i'm hanging out with someone who's died.
  6:53pm castor:

I liked the idea in Waking Life that death is just an endless dream
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:54pm Ken From Hyde Park:

We might need to visit some glaciers soon. I fear their days are numbered.
  6:54pm castor:

the linklater movie that is
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:55pm coelacanth∅:

i've awakened just before death many times; but once i fell into a hole that i knew had no end, so it would be the end for me, and i didn't awaken for a bit, while i kept falling
Avatar 6:55pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Paul McCartney speaks of dreaming of talking w/ deceased loved ones. 'Let It Be' about his Mom for instance...
'Waking Life' mentioned on 'Psychedelic Salon' I listened to today...
  6:55pm yes:

Thank you
  6:57pm spodiodi:

thanks, Adriene
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:57pm coelacanth∅:

i don't think i've ever gained control of a dream. i'm not sure i've tried.
  6:58pm castor:

Thank you so much Adriene!!!
  6:58pm adriene:

goodnight everyone
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:58pm coelacanth∅:

Thanks Adriene
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:58pm Handy Haversack:

I did a few times, practiced lucid dreaming a little while, didn't stick with it.

Thanks, Adriene!
Avatar 6:58pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

This Program really is quite a Production. Immersive. I'm often not sure I'm keeping up or know what it's about.
That's not a critique @ all.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:58pm ultradamno:

Borges' work is like a lucid dream itself
Avatar 6:59pm cosmic matrix:

that cricket noise made my tinnitus resonate
