Mike tp:

eleuthera by Michael Chapman is indeed sweet ...
David in London:

Sure is John. But I possibly take a different approach to most- from crisis comes opportunity, so I’m not nearly on as much of a downer as most.
John from Florham Park:

Ok mike great attitude
Avatar 4:38am
ben abs:

Morning David :)
David in London:

One of the things I like most about this show - other than the estimable Stan himself - is that you never know what’s it going to be like. Some days it’s long abstract instrumental ambient pieces, some days it’s rocking out, some days poppy. Stan always keeps you on your toes.
John from Florham Park:

Morning Ben
John from Florham Park:

I meant Dave sorry
John from Florham Park:

Which fave you can’t find in commercial stations or a lot of non commercial stations
John from Florham Park:

Vincent - David, Dave, Davy, Butthead, I’ve been called ‘em all. In all seriousness though, I really don’t mind, I’m not precious about it.

"Mallet's Mallet is a word association game where you mustn't pause or hesitate, repeat a word or say a word I don't like, otherwise you get a bash on the head like this ..... or like this ..... . And it's the one with the most bruises who loses."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:20am

Hello, David. Is there a secret handshake? Or at least a novel piece of headwear?

Hugo (NL):

Nice, what is this? It is Dutch, but I can't make out who the artist is.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:22am

Howdy everyone
Avatar 5:22am

For anyone outside the UK or less than 35 years old, Wide Awake Club was a children's morning TV show hosted by Timmy Mallet. Interesting fact: Mike Myers started out on it. Mike Myers the comedian, not the sexually repressed, supernatural homicidal maniac.
David in London:

Sem, yes, it’s one of those inflatable hats with the built in comedy arm and hammer. I’ve just put yours in the post to the Bay of Fundy.
David in London:

Gotta go and get the train now. Have a good day y’all. Catch you on various shows later probably.

liXiviated life:

I have a vision of you preparing your playlist.
Like a shaman waking through the forest.
Sees what he needs for a potion.
This tree bark, those leaves, that lizards tail...
Brings it all back
Mess it around in a pan for a while
Magic happens
Avatar 5:52am

@LiXiviatedLife: A particularly potent brew this morning.
