Howdy, Pseu et Les Hookers!
Avatar 12:06pm Phillippe Bastille:

Good afternoon Ms. Pseu and friends
Avatar 12:07pm Listening Out There:

Am I in the right place?
  12:07pm John from Florham Park:

Hello fellow WFMU listeners
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:08pm Jan Turkenburg:

Hi everyone. Telepathic mail is being recieved in The Netherlands :-)
  12:09pm John from Florham Park:

Hey Jan how are things in your fair county
Avatar 12:10pm Phillippe Bastille:

@Listening Out There its always the right place
  12:11pm John from Florham Park:

@pseu I like that first song times when I could not sleep in the middle of the night and I turned on WFMU
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:12pm Jan Turkenburg:

@John, well things got shaken up yesterday by a mass shooting in the city of Utrecht and politicians are fighting each other before local elections, but apart from that everything's fine...
  12:12pm dano59:

Missing Alex..
Avatar 12:13pm Pseu Braun:

me too, dano59
  12:14pm John from Florham Park:

@han I saw that damn shame well WFMU is my place to keep sane with all hell breaking loose
  12:14pm John from Florham Park:

I mean Jan
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:15pm Ken From Hyde Park:

My pledging muscles are all sore. I need this post-marathon cool down lap. And a foot bath.
  12:15pm John from Florham Park:

@jan sane thing with our politics too and with that thing in the White House even worse
  12:16pm John from Florham Park:

@KFHP but the marathon was a lot of fun to listen too
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:18pm Jan Turkenburg:

@John, I agree. WFMU does that to me too
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:19pm Doobois:

Love, love, love the Deerhunter record. Thank you, Pseu!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:19pm Ken From Hyde Park:

OMD is the Wake 'n' Bake artist / band of the week. Finding them here is an Easter egg.
  12:20pm John from Florham Park:

&han when radio Netherlands used to be on world wide on shortwave would listen to it and there was a program about broadcasting run by this guy called Jonathan marks who was great
  12:20pm John from Florham Park:

I mean Jan sorry for messing your name. Up
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:21pm Jan Turkenburg:

No worries
Avatar 12:22pm V Priceless:

hey Pseu!
  12:22pm John from Florham Park:

@jan thanks
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:24pm Jan Turkenburg:

I don't know Jonathan Marks. I'm afraid Radio Netherlands was mainly listened to abroad and not in the country itself. Although I sometimes tuned in out of curiosity
  12:25pm John from Florham Park:

@jan VOA too with the listening abroad
  12:25pm John from Florham Park:

@jan I do listen to the BBC for news
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:28pm Jan Turkenburg:

Yes, they are one of my news sources too. I'm not extrenmely happy with the Dutch National News, ...
  12:29pm John from Florham Park:

@jan don’t blame you not really happy with my cable news for obvious reasons
  12:34pm fletchernyc:

Hey Pseu and Hookers!
Avatar 12:34pm Listening Out There:

Nausea and psychosis...guess I'm in the right place after all! :)
Avatar 12:38pm jûjû killah:

Unicorn sounds a little like Natural Child. Wonder what happened to them?
Avatar 12:45pm James in ATL:

Hey Pseu! Congrats on a great marathon. You with Joe B was the highlight for me.
Avatar 12:46pm Pseu Braun:

Thanks, James - for listening and for your generosity!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:54pm Planet Tyler:

Knew this had to be Eric Matthews
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:55pm Planet Tyler:

Nice he still has that The Lateness of the Hour feel!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:56pm Tommy in Neversink:

Honestly I didn't think we would get to 1.3 million and we hit over 1.4. I actually tracked the trajectory of the daily takes and percentages on a spreadsheet I made and we were on track for about 1.2 then the rate of pledging picked up dramatly right at the end
Avatar 12:57pm jûjû killah:

Love me some Seeds!
  12:59pm John from Florham Park:

&tommy impressed good work
  1:00pm John from Florham Park:

@psue how mush sleep did the DJs lose over the two weeks
  1:01pm John from Florham Park:

I mean Pseu with the lack of sleep
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:02pm Krys O.:

I love Ocean Colour Scene, but I can't stop thinking of Super Hans from Peep Show saying, Mr. Ocean Color Pants.
Avatar 1:03pm Pseu Braun:

  1:06pm John from Florham Park:

@KRYS what was the peep show
Avatar 1:09pm Pseu Braun:

OMG Peep Show...Oscar winner Olivia Colman....for a start. It's about...roommates and the voices in your head, Krys?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:10pm Krys O.:

@John from Florham Park: Peep Show was a British comedy from the team of David Mitchell and Robert Webb. Olivia Colman was a cast member too.
  1:11pm John from Florham Park:

@pseu sounds like a strange movie if it is DVD at my library will get it
Avatar 1:12pm Pseu Braun:

TV series. It's on...netflix or hulu or one of those things if you stream
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:12pm Krys O.:

Peeping from within and without. POV to the nth degree.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:13pm Krys O.:

I think you can see Peep Show on Amazon Prime now. Season 1 is golden.
  1:14pm John from Florham Park:

@pseu gotcha
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:16pm listener monica:

here as well. Pseu, and i am a professional organizer!
  1:16pm John from Florham Park:

@pseu thank you fir telling me it was a series
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:16pm Krys O.:

I culled soooo much stuff the last time I moved two years ago. I trashed some stuff, but I donated a bunch of things to the Vets and to FMU.
  1:18pm cluebucket:

also a fair amount of Peep Show readily available on YouTube, thanks to the fan uploads
  1:19pm Bobby in LA:

Sue just take clothes to good will thrift store
  1:19pm John from Florham Park:

@cluebucket will look for that on YouTube
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:20pm Krys O.:

One of my neighbors has extremely cluttered back and side yards. They bring out tons of stuff for bulk pick-up and they have yard sales every weekend in the summer. BUT IT'S ALL RUSTED CRAP. Ugh. They have an above ground pool that I can see from my bathroom window and it appears to be filled with brackish sludge.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:21pm Krys O.:

Pseu, have you tried Thred Up?
  1:21pm John from Florham Park:

@kyrs yuck that is terrible
  1:22pm jeff-m:

Think they “recycle into rags” I always heard
  1:22pm John from Florham Park:

I mean krys sorry for Keep screwing up your name
  1:23pm MG:

uh, okay.
  1:24pm Chi Bill:

You rant, girl. Probably a few listeners that lack that common sense (same as slow left lane drivers, oh). Trash is trash.
  1:25pm cluebucket:

omg Babylon was so good! saw it last week... really weird that it was rated X at the time but I guess that's just race relations for ya ;-/
Avatar 1:26pm Listening Out There:

Wow. Carla Bley interview should be great... :)

Meat Puppets soooooooo good.
  1:36pm Marley Dogg:

Psyched to see meat puppets at monty!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:44pm Ken From Hyde Park:

NJ State Employment Law does not mandate your employer pay you whilst serving on a jury. Your work *may* choose to do so.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:04pm Patrick:

as soon as they find out you are a FMU Dj they are not gonna pick you... lol
  2:04pm John from Florham Park:

@oseu you could always blow it off
  2:05pm John from Florham Park:

@never that sucks with jersey
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:07pm Parq:

Hi, Pseu. You get paid whether you get picked or not. More than likey, they are not calling you for a particular case. The only real long term commitment would be if you got seated for a grand jury, which is a commitment of several months.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:08pm TomDash:

Hey Pseu - great set - perfect soundtrack for the shop. And great to meet during the marathon! Just hope you don't get on a Grand Jury or they gotcha for months on end. Or sometimes once a week for a year!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:09pm Parq:

Oh, and if your employer does pay you, you can't double dip. You have to reimburse your employer with whatever you get from the feds.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:09pm Mike Sin:

Hi Pseu! Great to hear Wild Silk — all of their tracks are buoyed by great production from Shel Talmy.
  2:11pm Marc15:

Am I the only one going through Marathon withdrawal?
Avatar 2:12pm Pseu Braun:

Hey Mike Sin! To Paul Bruno fan: Bruno in for Nate K tonight 9pm ... re: jury...my job ain't gonna do jack. I'm "contracted
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:12pm Parq:

Oh hell no, Mark. Some of us go through it year after year. It's like the week after Christmas (if you celebrate that).
Avatar 2:12pm Listening Out There:

@Marc15: Yes
  2:16pm John from Florham Park:

Ahh bee gees before they discovered disco
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:16pm Parq:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:17pm Hopey Sockmonkey:

  2:26pm Marc15:

It takes me a week to get the phone number out of my head
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:27pm Carmichael:
