P-90:

Was fascinated to follow Howard Shore's evolution from Saturday Night Live bandleader to very effective soundtrack composer.

Rich in Washington:

I just last weekend watched The Cook, The Thief, His Wife, and Her Lover again after many years and this time really enjoyed Nyman's score more than anything. Then the next evening, my wife and I watched the Mr. Rogers documentary and was please to hear bits of the former's film's score used in that film.
That was a weird coincidence. I just randomly watched that Greenaway film by chance.

@P-90: as a young early SNL fan, I too was always pleased to see his name pop up on film scores - and they're quite good, too.

One early concept of Mulholland Drive was evidently going to be Twin Peaks' Audrey Horne in Hollywood.

Too bad “Shaddap You Face” isn’t technically a soundtrack track. en.wikipedia.org...
