h’lo coelacanthØ, h’lo Jonathan. I am also invisible.

Howdy! Teetering on the edges of invisibility here. This MRA monologue is pretty ominous though I'm not sure I understand.

Scraps:

Levels and Degrees of Light came out in 1968, he said helpfully
Avatar 12:24am
Scraps:

The Bird Song gets more ominous, in the next twenty minutes.....

Jonathan:

IF only we could experience the brilliance of the whole thing - honestly dealingn with some turntable troubles but think I've got them figured out, smooth sailing ahead!

Jonathan:

Monday night raga for everyone

Hey John & Co. Sorry but I've been occupied with moving into a new apartment and our wifi ain't set up yet. But, ever the listener on mobile.
  1:04am
rw:

Anyone know what qualifies a raga as morning or evening? I've always wondered.
  1:06am
rw:

If I had to guess, I'd call Raga Ooty as evening.

Sounds like he's sucking, not blowing? Like Jackson Jeffrey Jackson.

the main thing, rw, is absorbancy.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:10am

Morning and evening relative anyhow, depends where you are.
  1:11am
Jonathan:

I think its mostly a feel thing, but I could be wrong. Could have something to do with the variances of scales used for each.
  1:11am
Jonathan:

This is a deep nighttime raga for sure.

rw:

Hey thanks for filling in tonight Mr. Williger. I wish there were a few more shows that sounded like this on the WFMU schedule. Not complaining, really. Just saying. There are a ton of really great shows and incredible DJs on this and on the streams.
  1:30am
Jonathan:

Thanks rw, that means a lot. Its a pleasure to fill in for Jesse, who I admire as a DJ a lot. There really is so much talent on the air!!

Frow Show is great. I feel lucky to be on the west coast so I can listen live at a more or less reasonable hour.

Hey grtyvr!

rw, I am with you on the "more of this" thing.... love the sounds...
  1:41am
rw:

Oh, and Jonathan while I'm here, did the turntable issues have anything to do with the sound on the Muhal Richard Abrams track? It seemed to be crapping out a little. I was wondering if it was the levels on the original recording or something in playback.
  1:42am
Jonathan:

Yeah, the counterweights were a bit off, an easy fix but it caught me off guard when I first got in.
  1:44am
rw:

Cool. Thanks. I'm going to look that record up. I kind of want to hear the whole thing.
