With an unhurried style, Ana Egge's songs are both melancholic and filled with sweetness. Egge might be easy to miss in a crowded field of singer-songwriters but her songs have a catchiness that stays with you. Ana's 10th and latest album, White Tiger, was produced by multi-instrumentlist Alec Spiegelman, who some might know from his band Cuddle Magic. Speigelman provided just the right amount of flourishes on the album, and plays a number of instruments within the songs. Ana Egge brought Alec Spiegelman along for this live set for WFMU.
