Hoboken Jook here! In prep for today's interview, I have eaten my watch band.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:11pm Jeff formerly from Rahway:

@Hoboken Jack was that watch band from Lee Sims Chocolate?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:13pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

In the 'This Is the Song We Sing' boxset (more a beautiful yearbook sorta format really) about the classic Bay Area music
- they kinda posit TheChocolateWatchband as an example of their main 'thesis' :
- that the division between Fillmore-approved acts & more suburban Garage-eesh acts is really a 'legless wonder', the closer one looks @ it...the Watchband being pritty dern Psych for a 'Garage' band...these being Labels all applied after the fact? Sort of?...

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:55pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Whoop for the Whips! Instant party!
...Ok...there are a couple tracks in that box sound Zappa-influenced - like this one!...Interesting how early Psych often overlapped 'Novelty'...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:03pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Great interview and show!
You really stepped up your game since you took the slot over from The Hound.
Thank you. TR
Avatar 6:00pm KevinfromBayRidge:

Bittersweet end to a great show, Todd
  6:09pm Motobro:

Scratch the part about the time slot, my mistake. Still mean the positive comment, probably better to just say, siince you started your show.
  12:44pm Mark in Toronto:

Todd, on the tracks that Don Bennett sings lead vocals, do the original takes (or tapes) exist of Dave Aguilar singing lead on those tracks? Or was his original vocal wiped completely?
