@Jinx - I read that article (but not at the beach). It's crazy that Saudi Arabia imports sand. Their desert sand it too rough for concrete. Sand from riverbeds is smoother.

The architect was famous in the 60s. But then developers saw an opportunity, scorned it as a "toll booth"
with all the glass walls. Really too bad. It would be nice to have a neighbor like yourself!
