Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:13pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Hi, Samantha. You evidently survived Turkey Day and all the shopping stampedes afterwards.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:18pm Krys O.:

Your show is the perfect way to stave off the end o' holiday weekend blues.
Avatar 5:25pm glenn:

aniss and lacana = the shaggs with in tune instruments and basic musical ability.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:27pm Scott Williams:

Tuned in and happy. Hi Sam!

Avatar 5:33pm khd:

i'm in a cheech and chong movie and it feels good
Avatar 5:34pm Samantha:

i couldn't resist steely dan
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:34pm efd:

That segue was nicely done.
Avatar 5:35pm glenn:

this would be a good hoof and mouth thing, hint hint.
  5:35pm Fermatseye:

Good call!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:39pm medson:

great set
Avatar 5:42pm TehBadDr:

The Steely Dan! Mmmm Yeeeaaah!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:43pm Switchblade Batman:

I used to love clap your hands and say yeah. I wonder what happened to them?
Avatar 5:49pm Samantha:

Yea I remember liking their record when it first came out
Avatar 5:53pm TehBadDr:

Disclosure: Samantha's vocal fry is almost better than her tune selection, but it is hotter!
Avatar 5:57pm Listening Out There:

Me Here Now...
  5:58pm Mark Williams:

Hi Samantha & all. Loved that Los Guapos Sensibles. Doing laundry & "chores," so darting in & out.
Avatar 6:03pm Samantha:

Hey new joiners!
Avatar 6:08pm Samantha:

I wonder if the Clap Your Hands record is still good, or if its like a movie that you liked when you were younger and doesn't hold up?
Avatar 6:10pm glenn:

like top gun?
Avatar 6:10pm glenn:

wait, i hate tom cruise. bad example.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:10pm melinda:

hi Samantha and folks
Avatar 6:10pm Samantha:

I was thinking like Austin Powers
Avatar 6:11pm TehBadDr:

Like Risky Business, which I always hated?
Avatar 6:11pm glenn:

austin powers was never good.
  6:11pm pulp:

Where can I find Aniss & Lacana ? I've searched but to no avail. It's so lovely...
Avatar 6:12pm glenn:

how about wayne's world?
Avatar 6:13pm Samantha:

Risky Business is great
Avatar 6:13pm Samantha:

hmm i haven't seen wayne's world recently
Avatar 6:14pm glenn:

neither have i, but i'm pretty sure it hasn't aged well.
Avatar 6:14pm TehBadDr:

Hmm, I thought Austin Powers was rather good.
  6:15pm JakeGould:

“Risky Business” is great. But “Princess Bride” and “Raising Arizona?” I can’t watch either of those films anymore.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:16pm Tome:

great stuff Samantha ,, bed peace not pieces ...
  6:18pm JakeGould:

Also, I have a mixed relationship with “The Police.” They were such THE band when I was a teenager. But I go through waves of loathing them to death and then counter waves of liking of few tracks of theirs.
Avatar 6:19pm glenn:

the police picnics were fun.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:20pm Tome:

.... agrees with the above wholeheartedly
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:22pm Davis:

wonderful show , really good... must to bed now, wish icould stay listening, really chimed with my brain
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:25pm Dave:

I always feel like I'm going for a swim when the background music comes on.
Avatar 6:27pm Samantha:

Ha, I could see that. It's "Dolphin's in the future" so that makes sense
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:32pm melinda:

I loved Austin Powers. @Jake I never liked Raising Arizona, don't get why it is so popular.
Avatar 6:33pm Samantha:

Dr Evil is funny
Avatar 6:33pm Samantha:

but I think he's the only funny character
  6:33pm jeff-m:

weeeee
  6:34pm JakeGould:

When there were Tenacious D shorts on HBO, I thought those were funny. But when they went full blown on tour and had more elaborate plots and shows? That really stunk.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:38pm medson:

Volume went up for this one
  6:39pm JakeGould:

Wonder how “Crocodile Dundee” plays to modern eyes?
  6:39pm jeff-m:

yes, indeed Medson
Avatar 6:42pm glenn:

now THIS is a knife.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:44pm efd:

fully on board with Moving Maps.
  6:44pm davidbp:

Sounds like Delta 5
Avatar 6:45pm Samantha:

yes I could hear that
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:46pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Moving Maps should tour with Matching Mole.
Avatar 6:47pm glenn:

or swell maps.
Avatar 6:48pm glenn:

and they could all get on stage and play map ref.
Avatar 6:48pm Samantha:

ugh Matching mole-heart wrenching
  6:49pm Fermatseye:

yesss
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:49pm medson:

Prettiest eyes are amazing
  6:54pm BronwynB:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:55pm Dave:

You're now radio famous BronwynB.
  6:59pm BronwynB:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:06pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Mdou Moctar is always good to hear!
Avatar 7:10pm khd:

mahmoud ahmed too!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:14pm Switchblade Batman:

@Samantha occasionally Clap Your Hands will pop up when I shuffle my iTunes. I think it holds up. Some of the luster is gone, but overall I wouldn't complain if it played in a bar or something.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:15pm Switchblade Batman:

I remember I grabbed it with Limewire, member that?
Avatar 7:17pm Samantha:

ooo yes! I had it
  7:19pm jdubz:

Mdou moctar!!! ❤️ saw him live in Brooklyn a few months ago
  7:26pm Mike tp:

fabulous Moolah.!!!
  7:30pm BronwynB:

Hey a fellow former Philadelphian!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:30pm Scott Williams:

ohhh man... "Come Wander" kills me
Avatar 7:33pm Roberto:

This song is creepy AF...and beautiful.
  7:36pm herb.nyc:

You know, there is a very good reason why that Goon Sax song soooo sounds like a Robert Forster written Go-Betweens song. -- re Steely Dan from before: there's a lawsuit over the band name. I read that an hour ago.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:51pm Mark Hurst:

Love this Monk Montgomery piece!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:52pm BennettCap:

Hi Samantha! I got into an argument with a friend, demanded some privacy, and wasted it on a Netflix original. I could have been listening to you. Alas! XO
Avatar 7:55pm DC:

Just tuning in.. That instrumental, Sister Lena, was precisely what my ears were looking for!
  7:55pm tuskandhusk:

Ha! Rad tunes
  8:16pm Woo:

First time listener. I'll listen more!
