Sounds like an octaver on Daniel's voice... very cool.
  9:37pm jeff-m:

Falconer- He played the Blackstar amp in the pic, a three pickup, silver Telecaster. I didn't see teh effects, but his drum tech said he plays Roland gear
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:38pm Daniel Blumin:

falconer, maybe Jeff M knows? I saw something like 7 pedals!
  9:38pm falconerpdx:

Thx Jeff.... so maybe a Jazz Chorus?
  9:38pm Mr Grims:

Daniel, you lucky bastard. One of my faves. Possibly above Bauhaus. Sacrilege, I know.
  9:39pm jeff-m:

meant silver pickup guard telecaster

and the voice effects are just him being hoarse a bit with a slight delay
  9:39pm falconerpdx:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:57pm melinda:

@coelecanth I remember seeing Tina Turner doing Ball of Confusion on TV as a kid and being sort of overwhelmed by the intensity of her performance, like I was watching something transgressive, like punk rock.
Avatar 11:02pm voneill:

Movement of Fear was so great live!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:03pm D. Blumin:

Absolutely, voneill!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:03pm coelacanth∅:

And is this that site she mentioned? www.divainparadise.com
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:09pm coelacanth∅:

i think twist is still my favorite tot song. it opens my copy of "pop!", though discographies have a different version of that album, with no "twist". it's just so strange - like surfing under a dark sky with weird activity in the clouds...or a party of ghoulish creatures...
Avatar 11:10pm geezerette:

Absolutely beautiful and almost three dimensional.
Avatar 11:11pm geezerette:

Feels like being inside the music.
  11:11pm falconerpdx:

Love twist too.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:12pm Cooh John:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:19pm D. Blumin:

Thank you, guys! Unbelievable! Daniel 30 years ago would hardly believe any of this was actually happening...
  11:21pm JakeGould:

@Daniel: Seriously, it’s so rare to meet one’s heroes and find out they are actually cool in the real world… Let alone dork like these folks. So good! Will recommend to fellow fans.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:23pm coelacanth∅:

when i first heard here come the warm jets i couldn't believe such a thing existed. even after a few years of radical change in music and my musical knowledge, in the flat field still blew me away the first time i heard it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:42pm coelacanth∅:

a year after tnk and practically the opposite in many ways
...weird set!
  11:44pm JakeGould:

@coelacanth∅: It’s kinda weird what inspires people.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:50pm coelacanth∅:

the singing reminds me of Peter Murphy. hmm...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:52pm coelacanth∅:

Jake yeah, sometimes people actually don't believe me when i tell them i like certain music.
  11:55pm JakeGould:

Thanks Daniel!
