  9:06am sugarwolf:

Good morning!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:07am Uncle Michael:

At least one of the puppies is getting his butt's fall broken by soft puppy head. That's something.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:07am Scraps:

that gif is fascinating. they fall off. and again!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:09am steve:

hi Amanda and friends
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:09am Amanda:

I can really see why this corgi breeder chooses to have deep-pile carpet in their home
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:10am Uncle Michael:

Even for Corgi puppies those two are little butterballs.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:10am listener james from westwood:

Howard Jones!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:13am Amanda:

@LJFW, somehow I knew you'd be into the HoJo.

  9:22am Nate K:

Archies > coffee
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:25am Amanda:

Who do you think is the bass voice of the Archies?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:26am Amanda:

Perhaps it's Hot Dog?
  9:29am Nate K:

I picture Jughead.
  9:30am Nate K:

I imagine him being able to get low despite not speaking that way...
Avatar 9:31am Scott C. from New Hartford:

Good manding, Amorna!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:32am listener james from westwood:

Spider silk is no smorgasboard, orgasboard, orgasboard, that's for sure.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:39am Andrew Waterloo:

good morning
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:44am Amanda:

How is everyone's December going so far?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:51am Andrew Waterloo:

I woke up cranky, but I am hopeful.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:53am Amanda:

Maybe the key to everything is to learn how to not be cranky when you wake up.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:00am Amanda:

I mean, that may sound overly simplistic, but has anyone ever tried it?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:03am Andrew Waterloo:

Perhaps... I find it better to just roll with the punches and wait patiently for a good cup of coffee whilst prevent several types of eye contact.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:04am Andrew Waterloo:

...and jokes.. jokes help a lot
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:07am Scraps:

Amanda, do you have Jimmy Webb's 5cd set "The Moon's a Harsh Mistress: Jimmy Webb in the Seventies" ? It's awesome, if you really like Webb.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:09am Amanda:

@Scraps, I don't have it, but it is in the record library here. I have played it many times! I agree, it rules.
  10:10am sugarwolf:

December is ok, I think it means everything is chocolate mint flavored instead of pumpkin spice.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:11am listener james from westwood:

My December's going about seventy quintillion times better than my November.
  10:11am sugarwolf:

Also countdown to my incipient cronedom!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:14am Amanda:

Woohoo @sugarwolf! Happy early Sagittarius birthday!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:18am listener james from westwood:

Never knew Donovan did any swingin' numbers like this one!
  10:21am sugarwolf:

My birthday is St Nicholas' Day and the night before is Krampusnacht!!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:21am Amanda:

Funny story, I walked into a candy store the other day and it smelled pleasantly like peppermint. The lady at the counter told me peppermint oil keeps mice away! Would not work as well in, say, a butcher shop, but in a candy store it is perfect.

@James the B-side of "Epistle to Dippy"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:28am Uncle Michael:

I LOVE St. Nicholas Hall!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:30am listener james from westwood:

I read that Henske/Yester album title as "Farewell Alderaan," which is 100% on brand for me.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:37am Amanda:

Farewell Adderall
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:38am Andrew Waterloo:

love Duchess Says. The singer has crazy eyes.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:39am listener james from westwood:

Holy Christmas, I thought this was Altered Images or some other 80s-made delight. More recent, I see!
  10:43am KP:

All right, Amanda!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:44am Amanda:

Never sorry to place a political message into a dance-y set
  10:45am KP:

No Adderall? How can I be expected to sit in this car for two hours
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:47am Amanda:

With the Drummer Stream, of course!
Avatar 10:59am northguineahills:

Nice TFUL 282.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:00am Amanda:

It is decided: this is the track that matches up best to the stumbling Corgis.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:01am listener james from westwood:

The Drummer stream will replace your Adderall with Adderley!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:11am Amanda:

Well done
  11:17am Nate K:

This era of the Ronettes is completely unknown to me. Thanks for the intro!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:19am listener james from westwood:

Was refreshing my acquaintance w S. 1 and 3 during the FXX reruns starting on Thanksgiving. Amazing how much I missed twenty-ump years ago...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:24am listener james from westwood:

I remember Baby Jessica! At the time it reminded me of when the youngest Little House kid fell down a hole.
  11:24am Nate K:

Fun fact: Will Oldham played baby Jessica's dad in the made-for-TV movie.
Avatar 11:29am northguineahills:

I went to birthday parties at Chuck-E Cheese's/Showbizz Pizza places back in the early 80s...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:31am Scraps:

Convoy was a#1 hit, incredibly
  11:31am Mark from Toronto:

They would have had to pay for the song, whichever song they selected. It wouldn't matter to the producers where the money was going to.
  11:33am Nate K:

There's a mini-documentary about the Showbiz Pizza animatronic band: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1327599/
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:34am listener james from westwood:

{distant falcon call}
"I don't think he's coming back."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:39am Scraps:

Incidentally, the old movie that was parodied is really good, and the end is awful, which is, in the early 1950s, is very rare. And it was not a hit. Very cynical, but good. (Yes, "but".)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:41am Scraps:

Thank you!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:41am Scraps:

Mercy sakes alive!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:43am Scraps:

Truckin' convoy!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:43am Amanda:

@Mark Lightfoot did want a lot more for the song than they were willing to pay and that was the reason they gave (in the DVD commentary) for not using it.
  11:44am Mark from Toronto:

Where did you get this version? It's not the original.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:45am Amanda:

@Scraps, I saw it once a super long time ago and I remember liking it a lot! But I really don't remember the end.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:47am Scraps:

When i saw "awful", i mean awfully good. I really admired it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:48am Scraps:

the end, i mean. awfully good
  11:50am Nate K:

@Scraps, Billy Wilder never pulls his punches.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:50am Amanda:

Ahh, yes, I see. Like "awful" as in "brutal." (Good)
  11:50am Nate K:

Oozing Wound pairs nicely with Wayne Fontana.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:51am Amanda:

The Corgis think so
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:52am Scraps:

I mean, the anti-hero ends up killing the guy trapped. i wonder how the crowd streaming out of the theatre though about that....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:55am Scraps:

(killing wasn't the idea, but still, he's dead)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:56am Scraps:

ANYway!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:57am Scraps:

Nate, yep, that's why i watched it (Wilder)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:59am listener james from westwood:

Many thanks, Amanda!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:00pm Scraps:

Thank you. This was great!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:00pm Amanda:

Thank you all so much for listening today!!!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:13pm Amanda:

I did it again: Radio Bart, totally NOT the season premiere of season 3, it was just at the beginning of the DVD I have. It is episode number 13 in the season. Not that embarrassing now that I have corrected it.
