it sounds like this is playing at the wrong speed but I swear it's not.

Welcome back...I met George Kuchar once! Nice guy. Yeah, his films are funny.

Robert Carradine?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:41am
mariano:

Robert Carradine is indeed one of the famous brothers, if you're talking about the one from Revenge of the Nerds...
Avatar 3:42am
Mary Wing:

IMDB says "Son of John Carradine, younger half-brother of David Carradine, Bruce Carradine and Michael Bowen. Younger brother of Keith Carradine and Chris Carradine."
  3:43am
Veronica:

Damn, a lot of talented Carradines...

The arise tune will be my signal to sleep. Beautiful choice Jonathan
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:45am

There's a cool movie by Walter Hill, his follow-up to The Warriors, called The Long Riders, about the James, Younger, and Miller gangs in the old West, with actual brothers playing the brothers: Stacy and Frank Keach as Jesse and Frank James, a bunch of Carradines, including Robert, as the Youngers, Dennis and Randy Quaid as the Millers, and Christopher Guest and his brother Nicholas as the Fords, who killed Jesse James.
Avatar 3:47am
Jherweg:

That sounds right up my alley! Speaking of the Warriors someone needs to do a modern re make of that Movie ASAP!!
  3:48am
Kafuka:

Bedroom cassette masters are great. I think I'll do this super download for 30 euros
  3:49am
Veronica:

Yeah, I saw The Long Riders! Great movie. I just looked it up on Wikipedia to refresh my memory. I'd forgotten it has a Ry Cooder soundtrack (four years before his soundtrack for Wim Wenders' Paris, Texas).
Avatar 3:50am
Jherweg:

Ohh that does sound good!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:55am
mariano:

@JHerweg: was just joking about a Warriors remake with some friends, about what the gangs would be called: the Bushwick Hipsters, the Midtown Douchebros, etc. Some real potential there!

Veronica:

Warriors scared the shit out of me when I first saw it. A remake could be great, but it would have to walk that fine line between terrifying and campy.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:01am

David Patrick Kelly has such a perfectly demonic face and voice, legendary villain, very scary.

@mariano are you Italian?
Avatar 5:24am
Jherweg:

Everyone's asleep....zzzzzzzzzz
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:25am
mariano:

@Kafuka: Actually Spanish -- the name comes from my father's side of the family, my great-grandfather came to the States during the Spanish Civil War. It's a name that could be Italian too though. Honduran on my mom's side, but with lots of German and Irish in there as well. I'm one of those newfangled white Hispanics according to the new classification.

Not asleep at all, loving this SY/LR set!

Still Listening! Now then! Back to cooking. Many get confused between baking and cooking. These are entirely two different things. If you're cooking you want moderate heat, unless you are searing,... Anyway thank you for all the music it was brilliant.
