Ken From Hyde Park:

I don't think I've come across very many covers of "Inna Gadda Da Vida" before. Marge and Homer used to make out to that hymn.

JakeGould:

So Bunker Hill’s “Hide and Go Seek” ripped off Link Wray’s “5-10-15-20”?

Alex of Chicago:

Enjoying the set, as always.

$mall ¢hange:

good question not sure which is first...didn't make that connect. theme for the 7 second delay today
  12:54am
JakeGould:

@$mall ¢hange: Indeed. Speaking of Link Wray, was disappointed Ken couldn’t find Adam Ant’s “Killer in the Home.” That and “Rumble” are direct descendants.

Hot mix on the drums, wow, that popped right outta the laptop.

JakeGould:

@$¢: Yeah, some of it was interesting but some of it seemed like stoner logic… Like The Smith’s “Panic” and T. Rex’s “Metal Guru.” Ehhhh… No.

$mall ¢hange:

haha. that Fall song tho. had no idea. kinda classic they ripped off the stooges that hard
  2:07am
JakeGould:

@$¢: Yeah. The Fall/Stooges thing was great. And I think part of the reason that happened was I think Iggy and Mark E. Smith might not make a big deal of it. Not like I know if they know each other, but it just seems like they would give each other a pass.

Hey Change & folkies. Doing taxes to this constant grind, great for focusing!
