  12:09am PMD:

Great opening for the show, as ever
Avatar 12:11am Cheyenne:

Thanks PMD! We are glad you're here!
  12:12am Greg from ZONE 5:

Hey T-Res and Chey Chey! Marathon on!
Avatar 12:12am Cheyenne:

GregFromZone5!!! My favorite Greg, from zone 5! Hey.
Avatar 12:17am Therese:

Nice to see you all here!
  12:17am sugarwolf:

Fuck yeah women's rights
Avatar 12:18am BadGuyZero:

I had a hunch this was from Therese's marathon premium. I remember watching this Schoolhouse Rock cartoon when I was much younger.
  12:18am Greg from ZONE 5:

And then there's Maude!
  12:19am JakeGould:

Hey! Hello Therese! Hey Cheyenne! Was volunteering during Bill Kelly and Gaylord Fields shows! Thanks for the rice crispie treats!
Avatar 12:20am BadGuyZero:

Such sweetass rhymes played one-and-a-half times.
  12:21am JakeGould:

Individually wrapped jelly bean! Fun!
Avatar 12:21am BadGuyZero:

When I was in the Jersey City hospital last year somebody brought me individually-wrapped Sour Patch Kids. I had no idea there was such a thing.
  12:22am JakeGould:

Cool looking but $4,000,000,000? Pork! $2,000,000,000 over budget!
  12:24am rw:

We Fun Me U
12:24am Bob in DC and/or Virginia:

Therese, I have an embarrassing confession to make: I pledged to your show, or tried to anyway, but hit the wrong box and it got credited to another (very worthy) show. I've asked that it be reallocated to your show.

In the meantime, I encourage all other listeners to support Therese's show to make up for my boneheadedness!
  12:25am JakeGould:

What Fun Money Upsell
Avatar 12:25am amEdeo:

I JUST PLEDGED $1,000,000,000.00! PLEDGE.
Avatar 12:25am BadGuyZero:

♫♫ F is for friends who do stuff together
U is for you and me
N is for anywhere and anytime at all

Avatar 12:32am Cheyenne:

@Bob we totally understand! Thanks for your support!
Avatar 12:32am Cheyenne:

@amEdeo NUH UH! I guess we can all just retire!
  12:33am b k:

Is the Joanne Newsome CD or LP?
  12:33am JakeGould:

That PATH station. Amazeballs! I can't wait to slip on it's marble floors when it rains.
Avatar 12:34am Cheyenne:

@BK it's a 2x LP!
Avatar 12:43am BadGuyZero:

Wikipedia says the Kelly twins are from Orange, NJ.
Avatar 12:44am BadGuyZero:

Scott Kelly was in space for 340 days. Just shy of a year. But he probably traveled more miles than he would had he been on Earth for a year.
Avatar 12:45am BadGuyZero:

Did Therese just say she's going to perform an exorcism on an orange?
  12:49am JakeGould:

Medicine balls? Yeowtch is that an old school reference! Like it!
  12:53am JakeGould:

Avatar 12:58am Joe B:

Pal's Cabin is closed. Rock n Bowl moved to a new location ... I wasn't sure if those are the questions but those are the answers!
Avatar 12:59am BadGuyZero:

I put Bro Dart dust jacket covers on my dust jackets 'cause I'm a nerd.
Avatar 12:59am Shaun(ununun):

Was thinking of mentioning William of Oranj before Therese dropped that.

Recently discovered part of my maternal ancestral emigration to US happened in wake of his reign. Unfortunately my paternal side is a bit untraceable without making a connection that I'm not ready to make.

But I don't know that your Jersey Oranges have anything to do with that, so mum, til y' mentioned it.

... scant naps (& 'millennial' raging): diffuser.fm... . Jon Wurster mentions how Jim O'Rourke functioned on only two hours of sleep during Superchunk's recording of 'Come Pick Me Up'. ...What's more millenial than '99 or raging than Jim O'Rourke(!)?

Way too late, this submission. Sleep, I could use.
Avatar 1:03am BadGuyZero:

Sunday nights/Monday mornings would be far less fun without Therese.
  1:05am JakeGould:

Larry called earlier in the day. He's in the Poconos.
Avatar 1:13am Joe B:

Therese has had great guests the last couple years - Kate P., Ex Hex, Wooden Shjips, local superstars Overlake, Kathryn Calder, Split Singles, etc
Avatar 1:32am BadGuyZero:

I saw a black velvet painting of Admiral Ackbar one time. If I'd had $100 on me it would be mine.
Avatar 1:36am Danne D:

Hi to you Lovely People :)
Avatar 1:36am Cheyenne:

Hey Danne!
Avatar 1:37am BadGuyZero:

Hi Danne!
Avatar 1:38am Danne D:

1) Therese Does Great Radio
2) Therese is Supremely Nice
3) Both of These Things Take Effort But She Makes it Appear Effortless

I hope you consider all these things and do the right thing :)
Avatar 1:38am BadGuyZero:

Tony Joe White wrote "Polk Salad Annie."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:38am Caryn:

If it wasn't so early on in the Marathon, I'd say Therese and Cheyenne were loopy from lack of sleep due to endless Marathon duties. As is, I'll consider them to suffer from "syntymähumala", a.k.a. "born drunk".
Avatar 1:38am Danne D:

Hey Chey and BGZ :)
Avatar 1:38am Joe B:

TJW also the first to record it

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:41am Gaylord Fields:

Fact Check: Yes, polk salad (or "poke salat") is made from the foliage of the pokeberry.
Avatar 1:41am Joe B:

next pledger can be the no-show FMU parking lot attendant
Avatar 1:41am Cheyenne:

Thanks Gaylord! Fact-checker extraordinaire!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:44am Gaylord Fields:

At your service!
Avatar 1:44am Therese:

Okay, so it's a Peter Schilling cover. My David Bowie point still (sort of) stands.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:45am robin:

i was just gonna say i used to listen to this peter schilling song...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:46am robin:

also, poke (hawaiian) is totally different! and some japanese restaurants call poke, poke salad, just to confuse you more.
Avatar 1:49am Cheyenne:

Haha @Caryn, you might not be too far from the truth, but it's anyone's guess.
Avatar 1:54am Danne D:

Therese has what the experts call a "Destination Premium"
Avatar 2:07am Handsome Gerrard:

Anyone else able to see the Marathon Map? I get a blank page.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:15am MattBelow:

@Handsome Gerrard: Where did you get to the marathon map? Is it on the pledge page? There a few bugs they are trying to fix up with the new pledge widget.
Avatar 2:32am BadGuyZero:

Todd should be Human PA System.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:41am Caryn:

Just pledged, and had to fill in all my address info etc. It used to be that if you were signed in, the billing info and the rest were already filled in, which was handy. Anyone else have that problem? Because I seriously hope that's just a glitch that gets fixed soon, since constantly filling in your info gets boring quick.
Avatar 2:47am BadGuyZero:

They're still getting some of the glitches worked out. Right now Swag For Life members can't make pledges of differing amounts to different shows via the widget.
Avatar 2:52am BadGuyZero:

Was it a magnet school?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:56am Caryn:

BTW, Bart was in the genius school in season 1, episode 2, while Lisa was mocked in the French class in season 12, episode 18.
  3:01am Steve-O:

Hi guys! Hope you all enjoyed your first Monday morning of the spring-and Therese and Cheyenne were wonderful! See y'all around.....and have a great week. =)
