Bad news - While driving this morning, I was unable to pick up the WMFU signal.
Good news - I came across Yo La Tengo on another station and will share with you now. www.wamc.org... They have a new album coming out tomorrow.

Heya Fabs and listeners. I heard Yo La Tengo live on NPR earlier this week.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Thu. 8/27/15 4:09pm Jesse K:

Don't forget I Am Omega! the Asylum answer back
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Thu. 8/27/15 4:09pm Ike:

I was not keen on "The Last Man on Earth." It's lame and tacky. Vincent Price deserved better.
  Thu. 8/27/15 4:10pm Casement 5ound:

Don't be hatin on Omega Man
  Thu. 8/27/15 4:10pm Lou:

dude...cmon...omega man is classic. the first scene freaked me out the first time i saw it. anthony zerbe's performance is surpassed only by his performance in kiss meets the phantom of the park.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Thu. 8/27/15 4:10pm Andrew Waterloo:

Bucket of Blood is amazing!
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Thu. 8/27/15 4:11pm Andrew Waterloo:

H-omega Man was my favourite adaptation.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Thu. 8/27/15 4:11pm Ike:

Which one is going to freeze our blood with its horrors of the future? I love that turn of phrase.
Avatar    Thu. 8/27/15 4:24pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

Alas I must quit the party before the interview but will surely hit the archive later. ... THIS HERE THING is clicky-star-worthy as well...
  Thu. 8/27/15 4:37pm Mark R:

I'm curious how there is an unknown track by an unknown artist from an unknown recording? "I found a blank CD on the floor and I'm playing it now." It's pretty interesting, whatever it is by whoever it is!
Avatar Thu. 8/27/15 4:43pm Marcel M:

Yo Fabio!
Avatar    Thu. 8/27/15 4:45pm Fabio:

Well Mark, funny you should ask: the clear vinyl lp was given to me years ago by a traveling musician whose name I have long forgotten. The record is in a clear plastic sleeve with no text or writing on it of any kind. labels are also blank. Any info given was verbal, maybe 8-10 years ago, also forgotten... so, unknown...
  Thu. 8/27/15 4:49pm Dean:

No matrix number?
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Thu. 8/27/15 4:49pm Polyus:

Maybe that person was never even there. . . (creepy theremin sound)
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Thu. 8/27/15 4:51pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Now is the time to revisit Rumsfeld's unknown unknowns - youtu.be...
Avatar    Thu. 8/27/15 4:51pm Fabio:

Yes, there is a matrix in the run off, but it's barely legible and I would have to put it under a magnifier and strong light. I like the mystery of it though...
Avatar Thu. 8/27/15 4:51pm Marcel M:

I like this a lot
  Thu. 8/27/15 4:52pm Mark R:

It was a cool track, whatever it was. And an interesting story, to boot. I like Polyus's theory. If it were an episode of "The Twilight Zone" the song would become a super smash hit!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Thu. 8/27/15 4:54pm common:

fabio, all!
Avatar    Thu. 8/27/15 4:55pm Guido from Cologne:

Avatar Thu. 8/27/15 5:14pm Mutant:

I fondly remember my days as a youth growing up in Düsseldorf when we would have a delicious ham schnitzler for Sunday brunch.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Thu. 8/27/15 5:18pm Polyus:

How can you have any pudding if you don't eat your ham schnitzler?
Avatar Thu. 8/27/15 5:19pm Mutant:

Blood pudding?
