Avatar 11:09am Todd-o-phonic:

Wow, just noticed "Summer Sun Shines" is flip of "Fashion Conscious". What a great track...will have to bring back for Beach Blanket Belock 2016!

Super sunny summer sounds sourced from the Sin Bin — this is just what I need, Mike!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:32am Frank Above:

Now now! You're plenty cool in my book Mike!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:32am Ken From Hyde Park:

Good morning; sounding fine!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:37am Gaylord Fields:

Cilla was one of those singers who came off as way too brassy/Bassey if not reined in by a good producer. But when she was handled sympathetically, she was a true gem! (The selected song here is definitely an example of the latter.)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:38am Mike Sin:

Hello Reverend Fox, Uncle Michael, Gaylord!, Frankie Four-Strings!, Ken From Hyde!

At least it ain't Todd.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:12pm Gaylord Fields:

@lloyd michigan: Sorry, dude, he's already married.
  12:15pm Matt in Nebraska:

The Everly's do a sweet version of "I'm Moving On".
  12:17pm Bill D:

Take or Leave It on "Flowers " not Aftermath. Actually saw Rezillos in heyday, complete with Commander Eugene pompadour.
  12:19pm Mark in Toronto:

Missed the Rezillos recent visit to Toronto, but saw them about 1-1/2 yrs ago, still great. There is an interesting 1/2 hr documentary on youtube about Faye and Eugene, maybe made for BBC
  12:20pm dinatekno:

Loving the music this morning/afternoon. WFMU makes my day sublime, yet again!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:21pm Gaylord Fields:

@Mark in Toronto: Faye Fife's current day job: www.keilcentre.co.uk...
Avatar 12:23pm Todd-o-phonic Todd:

In answer to the topic raised a little while ago...I imagine The Buccaneers heard The Boys Blue version of "You Got What I Want" as it came out in the U.S., unlike Sorrows version. Amazing song, think Sorrows' version is my fave. First spun for me by Vibraphonic Vince!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:28pm Fuzzy:

In answer to my own question after all the knowledgable FMU-philes stayed silent: Underground Set - Arcipelago...you'll go far with Soundhound and an old 'FMU playlist!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:32pm Frank Above:

Yay! The Forz!
  12:34pm Matt in Nebraska:

@Bill D - at the risk of being "knowitall@aol.com", I think "Take It Or Leave It" is on the UK pressing of "Aftermath".
  12:36pm Mark in Toronto:

@Gaylord - very interesting. I guess the Rezillos can't really be a full-time occupation
  12:38pm ListenerJohn:

Mike, your show is and has always been
a WFMU gem. Thanks.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:41pm Gaylord Fields:

@Mrk in Toronto: I like the idea that Fay Fife fixes minds in the daytime and warps them at night!
Avatar 12:46pm KP:

Gripweeds ... good!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:50pm Gaylord Fields:

Jeez, this show went by fast!
Avatar 12:50pm Todd-o-phonic:

  12:50pm Bklyn kid:

Avatar 12:51pm Sissophonic Cheryl:

Great show, Mike Sin!
Avatar 12:53pm David Shortell:

The reunited Sorrows are California-based now, ain't they? I remember actor Robbie Rist played in the group on their 2011 tour (which included no fewer than three NJ shows, bless 'em!).
  12:53pm Cooh John:

The Heavyweights utterly knock me out.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:56pm Uncle Michael:

I've been digging the show, out and about in the car, Mike. Thanks!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:56pm brendanswfmuaccount:

Always a pleasant surprise when I flip on FMU and I get to hear some Mike Sin, even if it's just the fleeting moments of the show.
