Street interviews, listener call-ins, vinyl gluttery, sporadic normalcy, original floperas and fiktion, blatant talking over songs, politix, tenderness, and a vague undercurrent of angst. Right up your alley!

Thank you for listening to this episode of The Dusty Show. It was all digital. I recorded the interviews on my cell phone. Mixed it to a laptop and Garageband. I miss my dual cassette machine. I need to get it fixed. That's the last I'll say about that.

Anyway ... thanks to those I interviewed. I guess I could say more, but I'm tired just now. These playlists take forever to do. It's Friday tomorrow. Fabio's coming by! We're hanging out! Better get some rest. Hope you do the same. Summer's going by fast, So fast. The years are really flying now, in a hurry to be spent, in a hurry to hurdle on headlong forever into forever and ever. Always remember. CP871599

Ken and Irwin both played some of your excellent original material from Clay's Classics VII yesterday! It was great. But this Foghat is worse than Hitler and Pol Pot combined.

Ken and Irwin? Wow! Cool! Hey Ike. I know what you mean about the Foghat. I think it's a good song, though. Pretty sophisticated by Foghat standards. And I always love Lonesome Dave Peverett. RIP

I was sort of joking there. Of course, nothing is actually worse than Hitler. Except maybe Stalin. And Steely Dan. Ha ha.

And I knew Dave Mandl from the Libertarian Book Club. I wonder if this acquaintance at Northwestern U. (where I used to play games in the late 1970s) knew Dave Mandle thru anarchist circles.

I just feel like I should mention the name of Dorothy Combs Morrison, the lead voice on "O Happy Day" in 1967 who is still around and singing. That song was quite a hit on the radio when the world seemed to be spinning so wildly that the center might not hold.
