Avatar 9:39pm

i've never liked dr who, personally. i never even liked the 70's dr who as a kid.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:53pm

I like Doctor Who because its protagonist is an eccentric alien weirdo, and the monsters are freaky as hell, sometimes conceived in the old days out of low-budget necessity with papier-mâché and foil and bubble wrap. That's my kinda thing. It isn't ultra-creative "hard" SF like the works of writer Charles Stross but it can be a lot of fun. Your mileage may vary.
Avatar 10:00pm

awwww, it's over. muchas gracias!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:02pm

1963-1989 and 2005-current. Almost all of the resurrected version is on Netflix. Only a few of the classics are up. If you're a fan of Douglas Adams, you could watch the classic "City of Death" which was written by him under a pseudonym. One of the more comedic ones.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:03pm

Thanks for that info, Ike -- I'll check it out! -- night, everyone!
