9:04am David in ATL from NJ:

I'm ready, Bob! Good morning to all who know what good radio is all about.
Avatar 9:04am SmokinJ:

Always great to hear Felix and the boys. Mornin' bb!
  9:07am Jeff:

A very close friend of the family worked for Atlantic Records in the '60s and '70s. When See was released, she gave me about 20 copies of the 45. I gave away a bunch but still have around 5-10
Avatar 9:12am SmokinJ:

How cool!
Avatar 9:13am Bob Brainen:

Mornin' Dave & Smoke.
Jeff, that is a very good friend to have!
  9:15am RHenderson:

John Kongos recorded some great songs, this one and "Tokoloshe Man." Unfortunately, he became fascinated with the Fairlight synth when it appeared. I think he wound up working for Fairlight as a sales/demo guy. Of synthesizers, Pete Townsend remarked that a lot of great songwriters got derailed by tech fascination and became programmers instead. I'm fairly certain he was talking about John Kongos.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:37am Uncle Michael:

I played the flip to that Kongos single yesterday. Good stuff.
  9:37am Jeff:

Bob, she's long gone now, but when she worked for Atlantic, I was able to give her a list of albums every couple of months. All Atlantic and Atco LPs cost me 75 cents each!!
  9:47am William:

Why is this song not on "Action Packed"? Great tune.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:59am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Hullo - good Sat. to you all.
  10:17am William:

Jerry is on at least 2 or 3 tracks on Elephant Mountain.
Avatar 10:27am SmokinJ:

  10:32am Jeff:

Bob, Jerry died back in 2014
  10:37am William:

Nice tribute Bob.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:46am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

No change to Saturday Schedule for Summer is a relief.
Like many, only know 'Some Other Guy' via Beatles - so way kewl.
Avatar 10:47am SmokinJ:

Lewis rules...
Avatar 10:51am Sean B.:

Exceptional show today!. Thank you Bob!.
  10:58am Mike Sin:

Really enjoying the show today, Bob, as I struggle at the gym trying to get my bod into bikini-wearin' shape!

That post-Parlophone material, later '60s material is quite fascinating. Can't believe it didn't see the light of day back in the day.
