Avatar 3:09pm Joe B:

If this show matches the intensity of Todd o phonic's scorching set at Home Sweet Home last night, LOOK OUT!
  3:10pm V Priceless:

Yay Todd! Yay Alice!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:13pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Confound it! This is so hot, it'll melt all this nice, fresh snow. The snowmen are going to be all gone by 6PM.
Avatar 3:13pm dk:

is it just me, or did billy idol sound a lot like paul westerberg on that generation x song?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:14pm Frank Above:

We're rockin' right out of the gate! But can Todd-o-Phonic keep up the pace? This commenter says YES!
Avatar 3:15pm Sem Chumbo:

Here, in case you need a few: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:15pm pacific standard simon:

Billy Idol always sounded like that. Now you know who Westerberg was listening to in the '70s.
Avatar 3:17pm dk:

totally. it really never occurred to me until now.
  3:18pm Mike R:

Little Feat cover!
  3:18pm Tom Carvel:

FEAT cover!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:19pm Frank Above:

Ha! We just watched "Untamed Youth" with Eddie Cohran this afternoon.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:21pm pacific standard simon:

I guess playing Eddie's "Nervous Breakdown" would be too obvious, huh? Subtle Todd.
Avatar 3:24pm Todd-o-phonic Todd:

@pss: It's the beat!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:28pm pacific standard simon:

That's my problem -- I only DJ for my lonely room, not for people who can actually dance.
Avatar 3:29pm David Shortell:

Was that the original recording of Wild-Man? Long Beach Island's "The Off White" do a good live version of that tune.
  3:32pm Ira:

This must have been the bump on the head talking, but I believe you meant Derrick Coleman, not Micheal Ray Richardson.
  3:33pm geokopp:

Thanks for sacrificing your head to save the vinyl!
  3:34pm Sissophonic Cheryl:

Thanks Toddy!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:35pm Frank Above:

Best compliment I've gotten in years!
  3:35pm ScottC:

The really fuct up thing about Eddie Cichran's death was that the cab driver had been repeatedly cautioned about the safety of his vehicle - what a loss...
  3:36pm ScottC:

Avatar 3:36pm Joe B:

Garry Howatt used to run a pitch and putt/driving range out in NJ somewhere. Flanders or Lake Hopatcong area
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:37pm Gaylord Fields:

Yes, Micheal Ray Richardson was famously attributed with a quote that will never be applied to Todd-o-phonic Todd's show: "The ship be sinking!"
  3:39pm Sissophonic Cheryl:

It took me this long to get the Artful Dodger dedication.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:40pm Gaylord Fields:

@Sissophonic: And you don't have the excuse of having fallen on your head.
Avatar 3:40pm Todd-o-phonic Todd:

You can explain it to me when I get home.
  3:42pm geokopp:

Was checkin out some Flo & Eddie lps at Vintage Vinyl just the other night!
  3:42pm Christina Don't:

I'm going to start calling FrankAbove the toy tiger.
Avatar 3:43pm Todd-o-phonic Todd:

That's between you and him! Let's keep the comments page clean!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:45pm Ken From Hyde Park:

I think there's even more to the story. The reporter asked MRR "How far can it sink?" He responded "Sky's the limit."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:45pm Frank Above:

At least that's better than what she calls me now!
Avatar 3:45pm acid casualty:

Hope yr o.k., Todd. It reminds me of the time I fell down a flight of steps and broke my fall with my chin rather than destroy my boom box.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:49pm Gaylord Fields:

Todd, et al.: These are easy decisions for all of you who aren't cursed with a killer record collection and model-handsome looks. I envy your lives so.
Avatar 3:51pm Todd-o-phonic Todd:

@Gaylord...save it for 3/14!
  3:53pm Sissophonic Cheryl:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:54pm pacific standard simon:

I'm biting my fingers -- no smutty jokes on this board.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:55pm Gaylord Fields:

@Toodd-o-phonic: On that date we will add a fourth POW! to POW! POW! POW!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:57pm Gaylord Fields:

@pacific standard simon: Are you trying to refrain from making the same Henri Richard reference that I am?
  4:02pm Sissophonic Cheryl:

Doug is outside the station right now staging a TOPT protest
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:02pm pacific standard simon:

@Gaylord - I don't think so, unless he was a big fan of tacos.
Avatar 4:06pm acid casualty:

We stole a sign from spec's that sez "we reserve the right to serve refuse to anyone!" It proudly resides in our China closet.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:07pm Gaylord Fields:

Serious question, @pss: What human on Earth exists who isn't a big fan of tacos?
  4:11pm geokopp:

Zombies still do a great live show including some O&Oracle tunes.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:12pm pacific standard simon:

That's a good question, Gaylord! Where is the science on that? And where's the control group of ideal tacos that we can use to run the test group?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:12pm Carmichael:

Heya Todd, Gaylord & Listeners. About to snuggle up with some taxes. And I, for one, LOVE tacos.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:15pm pacific standard simon:

Which would you rather eat, a bad taco, bad hamburger, or bad hot dog?
  4:18pm Sissophonic Cheryl:

Beautiful set.
Avatar 4:18pm drewo:

Did you get to see the WS trophy today Todd? I know it's getting old hat and all...
- Giants fan in Tucson
Avatar 4:18pm JakeGould:

Hello people. How are we all dealing with the MeltedSnowmageddon of January 2014?
  4:19pm Woo:

Are the Everlys on Turntable No. 3?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:19pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Are we talking soft shell or hard shell tacos? I prefer the soft shell kind. There's they combo style where you take a hard shell taco and enclose it within refried beans and a tortilla.
Avatar 4:20pm Joe B:

WS trophy in Jersey tomorrow at Yogi berra Museum 11 am to 1 pm
Avatar 4:20pm Todd-o-phonic Todd:

@drewo: I couldn't go today because of the show, but as matter of fact I did go in 2013 and 2011 to see it. It never gets old hat!
  4:23pm DR:

Psych-lo-delly Everlys (from the 7" no less!)
to pscylosbic Long Island travelogue? If I wasn't sitting on my sick ass in Brooklyn I'd swear I was the DJ.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:27pm WO Town Wick:

Big AMC/Eitzel fan. Lucky to have seen him a couple times at Maxwells back in the 90's.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:30pm pacific standard simon:

And, needless to say, GO GIANTS!

@drewo - my ex is a Giants fan in Tucson, too!
  4:31pm Listener Jumpy:

Speaking of the Zombies, the movie they are in, creepy BUNNY LAKE IS MISSING is now available for your home viewing pleasure
Avatar 4:31pm Juke Joint Jonny:

Cadillac coupe / onion soup. for the win
  4:31pm Listener Jumpy:

Is it Chuck Berry's birthday?
  4:33pm ScottC:

I used to deliver airline tickets in downtown SF ('86). My boss said "oh- the guy you are replacing is a musician and his career is taking off so he had to quit - do you know his band -American music Club?" it was mark Eitzel. Used to see them at the club on Divisadero -what was it called? It's "The Independent" now.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:34pm pacific standard simon:

@JJJ - you right.

Gotta run & mail my bills; hope to make it back 'fore the end.

Avatar 4:56pm BadGuyZero:

BREAKING NEWS: Dave Edmunds goes on record as not a fan of Dave the Spazz.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:00pm Carmichael:

No wonder they call him "The Spazz" ...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:00pm Bob in Oakland:

@ScottC - The Vis Club and, from 1987 on, the Kennel Club. I recall some good AMC shows at the Kennel, and plenty more at the I-Beam, Hotel Utah and Great American Music Hall.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:23pm pacific standard simon:

Aw shoot -- you played GOOD STUFF while I was gone!
Avatar 5:24pm BadGuyZero:

A couple of years ago I saw Mucca Pazza during a visit to Chicago. They were recording a live album; Bob Weston was engineering. I wonder if that thing is ever going to be released.
