don't even think about not pledging to this show, buddy.
Avatar 12:46am kim (germland):

guten morgen

Avatar 12:57am InBrkly:

Aquarius Records in SF has some fixation with 1973.
Avatar 12:57am InBrkly:

Just noting the comments on Buffalo.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:00am Minnesota Jeff:

Google is failing me, but does anyone know the name of a 70's hard rock band that performed a song called "Totos". Its something like Bodo Band, or Bondo band, but Google is not helping.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:01am Minnesota Jeff:

Most of the song was the signer yelling "TOTOS! TOTOS! TOTOS!" over and over.
Avatar 1:02am KP:

Hi, Sue!
Avatar 1:04am KP:

Hey I have a heart!
Avatar 1:07am Jeff:

Your hosts this evening:

Avatar 1:09am InBrkly:

Die Toten Hosen?
Avatar 1:18am KP:

Thanks, Jeff. Your fmu pics are best I've seen.

Avatar 1:22am InBrkly:

Why aren't the hearts black....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:24am Minnesota Jeff:

Did they give out the Buffalo? Hrmm, I must have missed that.
Avatar 1:25am Sue P.:

@InBrkly - a very good question! I think it has to do with what colors I programmed.
Avatar 1:26am Holly in NC:

Hi Sue P & everyone! Minnesota Jeff's query is driving me insane - so feel I should know, but don't. Any other clues, MJ?
  1:26am falconcrest:

Putting laundry away & bedroom dancing to Gore. Thanks for your radness Sue P - I'll be donating this week after pay day.
Avatar 1:28am KP:

Now if I only had a brain.
Avatar 1:29am Sue P.:

Sorry! Yes, we did give away the Buffalo. Eric in Seattle, WA won that baby!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:30am Minnesota Jeff:

Holly: The band name could have been something like Bodo Bill & Les -something spanish- I know I saw the video a week or so ago on Youtube and it was from 1972. I think they were Californian.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:30am JoshuaK:

Music is a cool thing
Avatar 1:31am InBrkly:

if it was spanish maybe you heard Todos
Avatar 1:31am InBrkly:

I can't think of any Spanish hard rock bands from back then. I'm pretty sure it wasn't Los Crudos :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:33am Minnesota Jeff:

The song title for sure is "Totos" - I don't believe the lyrics were all in Spanish though.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:36am Minnesota Jeff:

Figured it out! The song was actually "Tonto's" and its by Billy Bond
Avatar 1:37am InBrkly:

Boner records!
Avatar 1:38am InBrkly:

Boner pretty much owned the back page of MRR and Melvins were featured there for a long time (I think).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:41am Minnesota Jeff:

"Billy Bond y La Pesada del Rock and Roll" is the full name of the band. Argentine hard rock with an Italian lead singer.
Avatar 1:42am KP:

Quiet, bad. Ring ring ring.
Avatar 1:43am Joe B:

show sounding great!
Avatar 1:43am Danne D:

Whoa Minny Jeff is here? Hey Holy KP and all the other comment critters!
Avatar 1:43am Holly in NC:

MJ - In extreme instance of oh wow headfuckery, look see what I found:

Brian Turner had you covered back in 2006! All hail wfmu
Avatar 1:43am Danne D:

And now Joe B! And people accuse ME of never sleeping!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:44am Minnesota Jeff:

Holly, thats awesome! WFMU knows all!
  1:46am Nick:

Woohoo! Thanks for the prize. I feel I've got way more value from WFMU than I've pledged since I've started listening, and that doesn't include the prizes and gifts. Great station.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:50am JoshuaK:

I'm in it to win it. I think I won something from your show last year.
Avatar 1:50am KP:

Buzz*oven awesome.
2:01am Adam in Portland and Lynnwood:

Just got out of a Batillus show, and am now happy to see my friends on the board tonight. Great to hear Sue and Wm. together!
Avatar 2:01am InBrkly:

There is always the scene...everywhere. I'm currently digging a Brazilian band called Spectrum.
Avatar 2:02am InBrkly:

Quiabo's is a great track.
Avatar 2:03am Danne D:

Yay Joshua :) Congrats!

I won something from another show, so I'm glad someone else got a chance to win.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:07am JoshuaK:

Nice. I dig collections of music from far off places and know someone temporarily living in Indonesia even so it's right up my alley.
Avatar 2:18am Danne D:

Sue P - you are kicking ass :) That's an awesome total! Hope you make it the rest of the way to your goal :D

Thanks to those pledging :) Keep it up and have a great night!
Avatar 2:19am Sue P.:

Thanks, Danne D! Pleasant dreams.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:44am Minnesota Jeff:

This is far more rockin' than what I thought this band was like.
Avatar 2:52am InBrkly:

Avatar 2:54am Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

People should pledge just for these great color schemes every week!
Avatar 2:56am InBrkly:

actually I wanted to ask you for a "work safe" button.
Avatar 2:57am InBrkly:

something that would apply a generic CSS for plain text. Hide the images, neutral colors.
Avatar 2:58am Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Interesting idea...
Avatar 2:59am InBrkly:

Or fug it. My boss can just deal.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:13pm Rory:
