oh noooooooooo we're gonna miss you! what are we gonna do w/o you?!!? congrats too!!!!

i'm sorry.... sad to go! 120 minutes of mudd left...

wait, what? what? what have I missed? Rupture is going? Is that why no premium for Mudd Up is indicated on the Marathon DJ premium schedule? Is Lamin getting your minutes?
Avatar 8:07pm

any info for the curious about your book?

dont forget the little people, djR!:)

Rev. Turnip Druid (xBSI):

Salut, Rupture! Happy trails!
In the meantime, who has carrot cake?

yes, can someone clarify for those of us that are tuning in late?

steve - did i mention the book? where'd u hear about it?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:15pm

we will just hafta listen through all the archives again from the very beginning. i always try to listen to muddup live on wfmu, and i think i've made it 96% of the time. i've listened to every muddup show on fmu since you started whether in real time or archived and many shows more than once. thank you so much for the music joy, rupture!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:16pm

7 second delay spilled the beans about the book. Ken announced it in his show this morn of your leaving.
Avatar 8:17pm

i don't think i heard you say anything about it. Ken just mentioned it during SSD.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:18pm

ken was being a little sarcastic on SSD, i thought -- "oh, he's leaving to write a big book that'll be a huge hollywood movie, he has no time for this any more" -- maybe he was joking around :)

beans spilled!

Will you be doing fill-ins?

you're wonderful, Rupture. as a recent fan of your show, i'm excited to trawl the WFMU archives and follow your future projects.

Once you get a WIRE cover, it's a rocket-ride to th'stars...

hahah Turnip -- i wish!

the Archives are deep, the night is long.... Mudd never really goes away, right?
Marmalade Kitty:

All the best DJ/Rupture! Hope you will return someday :)

Rev. Turnip Druid (xBSI):

What M.Kitty said. Great deep groove in there.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:36pm

I sort of wish that cool groove could've been used in the service of better raps. All I heard was our great American anti-intellectualism at its finest. Great show overall though.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:42pm

the french montana song reminds me a little of chief keef's love sosa. maybe this is just a common style of rap?
Avatar 8:42pm
Rev. Turnip Druid (xBSI):

aye, ike. I was re: the Mory Kante groove. That stuff could've gone on for hours. Rare treat to be tuned in live after 6 EST.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:43pm

rita indiana tune is great!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:46pm

How does that old saying go? Keep your face on the ground and keep reaching for those car keys? All the best, DJ Rupture!

Mr Clayton will be involved in quite a few major projects in the coming months/ years/ decades. He is THE gift that keeps on giving. Radio is just one part of the picture. Stay tuned!!
