Listener comments!

  11:06am Paul:

What a 1-2 punch!
  11:11am mrmucho:

hey Mike good morning, any plans for another installment of the Worlds Greatest Music Experts?
  11:19am Wipper:

Brinsley Schwarz!!!
  11:19am Wipper:

Great song.
  11:21am Yvonne:

ooo good one
  11:24am Joe in DC:

Now thats some fine music! Ted Hawkins!
  11:26am Joe in DC:

Any chance of the Renegades? My computer is running slowly, 13 Women would really clear out the Viruses and Stale Cookies....
  11:29am Bob:

Would rather see a Brinsley Schwarz reunion than a Rockpile one.
  11:30am paul:

I'd prefer Rockpile, but either would be great.
  11:30am Mike Sin:

Looking forward to that Mark Wirtz interview -- Tomorrow, Keith West, Grapefruit, Kippington Lodge... Love those recs!
  11:35am Michael:

ROCKPILE - BS weren't that good!
  11:36am Caryn:

Awesome show so far!
  11:38am Bob:

Rockpile was obviously the better band. Brinsley sets were more interesting though. Rockpile pretty much played the same 12 songs every show they ever did.
  11:42am Laura:

Great song! Mrs. Raven is a favorite of mine as well. :)
  11:51am Rosemarie:

Say Hello to Mark from Barnsley UK
  11:52am paul:

I missed the start of the interview. How old is MW?
  11:54am paul:

"Sounded like a pussy." lol
  11:55am Laura:

Mark was born 3 September 1943
  12:03pm paul:

Thanks Laura!
  12:09pm Bill Melton:

Mark is a hero! His '70s LPs were always in heavy rotation on my turntable, 8-track player, and in my jukebrain.
  12:18pm Laura:

What a great interview this is!
  12:20pm Bill Melton:

Lost Pets 2! The finest '70s LP of 2011!
  12:21pm Laura:

You got it, Bill - it's a super album!
  12:22pm Bill Melton:

"A little shameless pop festival" ! What could be better!?
  12:24pm Laura:

Perfect description! Happy to hear the title track. Great cut. :)
  12:28pm Bill Melton:

So great to hear a bit of Mark's 'story', and "lost Pets 2" is one of my favorite records EVER! Thanks, all!
  12:34pm Wipper:

Hahahaha! A DOG DEDICATION!!!!!!
  12:34pm mordred:

Jaysus, "The Courtship Of Eddie's Father"!!
  12:35pm paul:

Your daughter could be the next Casey Kasem (if you've ever heard that outtake). But I doubt it. She sounds much nicer.
  12:35pm Caryn:

Having just spent a few weeks sick and watching DVDs, I can't listen to this song without thinking of Joseph Gordon Levitt and Topher Grace palling around together.
  12:36pm paul:

Wipper has obviously heard it! lol
  12:41pm j:

grooming the next AMANDA !!
  12:45pm bigjay:

Wow! Hangin with the stones..welcome to the dark side where I live
  12:45pm mordred:

The Situationist National Anthem- "Hang Fire"!!
  12:49pm paul:

That's Rob-abilly
  12:55pm paul:

Kim Fowley's funny.
  12:57pm Elias:

I have vivid memories of that exact "C-K-L-W" jingle.
  12:58pm Wipper:

I'll put you on the trace too!
PS--it's WIPPER Brothers! :)
  12:59pm ?:

A CKLW aircheck!!! Wow! I loved hearing that station as we traveled through the Detroit area in 1967 during the riots!
