  12:04pm Krazy:

Kool Kouple of Koverz!
  12:11pm Cecile:

hi all!
  12:12pm Duane:

Thanks Krazy. Hi Cecille!
  12:12pm Mike East:

Heya Cecile, Krazy, Duane!
  12:15pm Duane:

Hola Mike!
  12:15pm don:

wednesdays are the best
  12:16pm KatyEEEEE:

Duane we half looked for you at the show last night... She was grrreat, but the audience was a different story (...we suspected witches and black magics were all around us... we were on the brink of being turned into a 3$ Pabst Blue Ribbon)
  12:19pm Duane:

Katyeee; AAAAhahahaha. We'll have to talk about that when Anika gets here. We are deejaying together tonight. by the way. We'll announce it on air!
  12:21pm still b/p:

Sly's Stone's living in a little camper on the streets of LA.
  12:23pm Duane:

still: Oh yeah? My friend Dam is supposedly producing a project for one of his daughters..I hope that trailer livin is by choice..yikes!
  12:23pm KatyEEEEE:

Wicked!!... (Badum ching). I dunno man.. Anika was kinda rocking the coven.. I fear I might be facing extinction if she knows I'm talking about this stuff ON THE RECORD. But she was lovely.
  12:24pm pierre.Allain:

Salut Duane !
  12:26pm Duane:

bonjour pierre! nice to have you
  12:26pm KatyEEEEE:

Oh and, I will try to swing it tonight but I already got to attempt Kareem Lamar and the Juggs (as you may know) at the Kid Cudi's HBO show party.. whats that horrible show called again? Made in America.. Right, whatever. But I hope to stop by sounds like fun.
  12:27pm still b/p:

Hard times seem to have put Sly there, though he says, ""I like my small camper. I just do not want to return to a fixed home. I cannot stand being in one place. I must keep moving."

  12:28pm Ike:

Awesome edit.
  12:28pm MD:

I was a teenager when this disk "dropped"
  12:29pm MD:

I mean the original..by the WHO...
  12:29pm Duane:

kATYEE: hOW TO MAKE IT aMERICA? woW!! That's amazing! I'd go to that too! we"ll be in Billyburg going late i think.
  12:29pm Cecile:

That's the kind of remix that you make when you're not overly reverent. Good remix.
  12:30pm Cecile:

Kurt Gottshalk is doing his Temptations vs Prince show. Sly trumps them all.
  12:30pm Cecile:

MD, as was I.
  12:31pm Mikebee:

Great jams, love that Who edit! Is this Undisputed Truth jam a Super Value edit?
  12:32pm Duane:

Mikebee: Thanx..yeah its a supervalue edit
  12:33pm Mikebee:

Haven't commented for this show before, but this show is amazing - I've enjoyed it all summer.
  12:50pm Van:

  12:51pm Mikebee:

Nice one Duane. You play vinyl at all?
  12:51pm Cecile:

Junie is still George Clinton's musical director, isn't he?
  12:52pm Duane:

bodegaman: Hahaha! that was the sound of me trying to find a youtube clip to play..(something i like to do on occasion) and trying to turn the volume down...i'm a professional..really ! Thanx for listening?
Mikebee: 70% of my show is vinyl, bro~
  12:53pm Duane:

  2:29pm the glowing one:

ah, ok. :)
  2:38pm Ike:

Sounds great!
  2:41pm Anika:

thank you Ike
  2:42pm the glowing one:

yeah, nice selection!

the early 80s post-punk/new wave releases are a gold mine that will probably never be depleted, and what's funny is that imitating the sound can be done almost perfectly! so that's double inifinity.
  2:43pm Carmichael:

Love this Total Decay. Mui wunderbar.
  2:43pm the glwoing one:

haha, genesis p-orridge! he's nuts!
  2:46pm pgw in mntclr:

Anika, i didn't know you were going to be on the radio today, but was listening to you on my iPod on the train this morning... hooray for coincidence. great album, by the way!
  2:49pm Carmichael:

Whoo, my radar just went up on this song. Nothing lkike having a guy named Twink in your band.
  2:49pm Anika:

Nice One Pgw
  2:56pm the glowing one:

Anika, did someone from your family or family friends introduce you to wave and post-punk music? or did you look it up by yourself at some point?
  2:56pm Carmichael:

Thanks, Duane and Anika. Great show!
  2:56pm Cecile:

I tell you, most of this post-punk never made it to US shores except in the most esoteric of stores when it was created. This is as new to me as it is to the younger listeners.
  2:58pm the glowing one:

hey, that's from my favorite Psychic TV album*, in fact the only one I like.

*=presented to you in Holophonics!
  3:01pm pgw in mntclr:

Give 'em hell in Asbury Park!
  3:01pm vanessa:

thank you very much, anika...great set, but really loved the Gang 90 and Magnet. i am going to try to make your glasslands show. bye, duane...check you next week.
  8:28pm Dave in Brooklyn:

found this mix today at 430am and was thinking about it all day. Duane where have I been all your life or something. I'll be with you moving forward - you are great
