I saw stereolab back in '94, "The velvet underground" like experience
  8:23pm Rupture:

VACATION SOUND! // i saw Stereolab awhile back and had a fever and nearly fainted during one of their epic feedback jams
  8:36pm Phil:

Great Sounds!
  8:40pm Jim Strang:

Great Honest Jon's comp! To me one of their greatest comps. Thanks for playing that and (and the Super Grupo Colombia)
  8:41pm Rupture:

you're welcome! yes that's a fantastic comp... and now's a nice time to revisit it
  8:44pm Phil:

Cheers for Darker Than Blue, another excellent comp (dig Watch How the People Dancing, too). DTB also has fantastic photos--easily one of my fav reggae comps. Great tunes all around.
  8:45pm Rupture:

  8:53pm Rupture:

  8:56pm JT:

Ken Booth and S.L.A.B. at least... I think. I was playing while talking to the 'tids.
  8:57pm Phil:

Wow. It just keeps comin'. Great show!
  8:58pm JT:

See, now I have a bunch of music to figure out - 3 chord songs, all minor chords. The cumbia stuff sounds like that also to my incredibly untrained ear.
