  7:46pm
jbird:

Yeah Monica you got love-sometimes you couldn't even remember who from.
  7:48pm
él-g:

Cher loup de Sucre, Chardonnay is great for a fast dizzy wine effect. Especially for a first date. Have a bottle of that and love will be at the door.
Don't drink too much, otherwise you should say " I love you" and don't think it deeply.
Barry white was surely a great White wine collector, that was his secret weapon with women.
Buckowsky too in another style.
  7:49pm
sugarwolf:

Monica, I only have a few weeks left of adoption rights!!

el-g, I am indeed fast and dizzy.

  8:02pm
Don (trip dub):

  8:11pm
~L:

Kids still do that at school with the little valentines, but the holiday is crossed with Halloween somehow and they exchange candy along with the cards! Today I stayed home and made Twinkies!
  8:11pm
sugarwolf:

I have a funny grade school crush story. My grade school & middle school crush went to private boys high school in NJ. Years later, I was talking to one of my guy friends, it came out we both went to school with this kid & we both had major crushed on him.
  8:11pm
Steve M.:

We would decorate a shoe box for Valentines Day, cut a slit on the top, set it on our desk to receive Valentines from classmates.
  8:15pm
CB2:

Mo, Happy Val Day!

Just ran in. Mama wouldn't let me leave - had to be Cupid to all the ladies at Extendicare. Not bad, but so many had their teeth out because they were getting ready for bed - sigh!

CB1 is wrong about gator land - none around today - only melting snow creatures with drooping limbs in the Southern heat.

Sorry I missed the 1st half, but can't wait to be hear (sic)for the remainder.
  8:15pm
texas scott:

how do you make a twinkie?

grab 'em when they're young.
  8:16pm
Taylor:

Re: "Egbi Mi O", great article about this reissue label (Now-Again) in this week's LA Weekly: http://www.laweekly.com/2010-02-11/music/now-again-records-egon-calling
  8:16pm
Don (trip dub):

My first crush was on Sharon Yasgur (Max Yasgur's niece). This was a Hebrew Academy so when Robin Perlman was bused in at 7th grade she upset the entire balance of religiosity.and the schools mission statement and charter were revoked.
  8:17pm
Renne Z:

Dare I ask Texas Scott how they stuff a twinkie?
  8:19pm
texas scott:

twinkies are pre-stuffed,doncha know.
  8:21pm
jbird:

How they make a twinkie just aired on some program on the foodnetwork yesterday. Huge machiness insert the cream in predetermined holes in the -whoever thought I'd be talking about this t
  8:22pm
texas scott:

this El Touchy is just the best.
  8:23pm
Renee Z:

Oh, Texas Scott!

You are a man of wisdom of so many topics!

Thank you for your erudition.

And you are so right on the touchy.
  8:26pm
Renee Z:

"Predetermined holes" - I don't think I want to go there.
  8:27pm
texas scott:

they have a machine for that?!?
  8:28pm
Don (trip dub):

'El Braille' = Latin Apache, cool breaks.
  8:28pm
not here:

Pete Shelley is a god
  8:29pm
~L:

I bought a twinkie kit, with pans and pastry bags to fill them. I made chocolate twinkies and vanilla twinkies. They taste more like cream filled cakes than actual twinkies, but that's a good thing! It's pretty difficult to get enough of the filling inside the cake. But they look cute in their valentine bags!
  8:30pm
monica:

greetings depilatrix, Don (trip dub) (butter doing fine). and le loup de sucre...s'wolf, make that precious time count....seang, you KNOW ole boy was sloshed when he said that....windy city, you complete me....~L, am happy to know some things haven't changed...CB2, yer killin' me with the Extendicare story!...thanks,for the info, taylor...renee z, you are a bad renee z!
  8:31pm
Steve M.:

I have that Pete Shelly single sitting next to my door to be taken down to the trash... I just haven't the room to be storing records.
  8:33pm
texas scott:

there was a time in my growing up years, that if you called someone a homosapien, you got your ass kicked.even after the explanation.
  8:37pm
jbird:

whats the explanation-Texas Scott
  8:41pm
~L:

It's true, just the prefix homo- really confused people back then.
  8:41pm
NBR:

This shiznit is hella tight Monica.

Neil Young
  8:49pm
Don (trip dub):
