When I was a wee lad in Japan, some of my friends were cast in the Obayashi's (same guy who did Hausu) "The Drifting Classroom"(1987). Low budget Japanese horor(?) madness. I still haven't been able to see it since the original screening.

I saw Hausu on Halloween. One of the best things about it was the intro by the director and his wife. Also, BAM played a bunch of commercials from around that time. Including "MANDOM" (starring Charles Bronson). I hope all that's in the reissue.
