  9:25am mark:

  9:44am Cecile:

Good morning, and good evening!
  9:45am Cecile:

And I lived in Sydney for a year back in the 70s. Same province, but never made it out there.
  9:45am annie:

morning cecile..
  9:46am Dave B in NYC:

Greets from the Big Apple.
  9:47am Nancy T.:

Looking forward to the Sediment Club set!
  9:52am jeremy the listener:

hi everyone. happy tuesday to you
  9:54am Cecile:

Annie, I have summer doldrums bad. I might have to sneak out early...
  10:00am Dave B in NYC:

Hey Jason - what is the name of the piece you use as bed music in between sets?
  10:06am jason:

hey dave, it's a loop of faust "just a second (starts like that)" off faust IV
  10:08am annie:

cecile, i had grand plans to plant today, just getting a heavy rain passing through, though.. i'm slightly bummed
  10:08am Dave B in NYC:

Thanks Jason. I've been listening for a while, and always like that bed music... Great Show!
  10:08am dc pat:

I wish I could live in Sydney in the 70's.
  10:11am Cecile:

Ah, annie, you can sip the java and dig the tunes.

dcp, I missed the Saints, Birdman, X, Coloured Balls, etc, but had a field day learning about glam, AC/DC, the much-maligned Skyhooks, etc. Australia turned me into a hardcore music geek.
  10:15am dc pat:

nice. must have been a great experience. I spent the 70's in Ohio and Pennsylvania....dammit...

hey this Dediment Club stuff is great. Way better than the Ft. Reno show I saw last night...
  10:15am dc pat:

+S, -D
  10:15am Cecile:

You kids and your No Wave!

It's great. It's keeping me young.

dcp, I spent most of the 70s in Upper Michigan, so I feel your pain.
  10:24am dc pat:

man, this guys are killing!
  10:26am stingy d:

i liked the way he said "bass"
  10:28am dc pat:

dammit! 'these' not 'this', my brain is mushy because of my hard pedaling this morning...
  10:31am jiveass:

great to-the-point compositions with mature forward-thinking playing- keep it up!!!
  10:31am dc pat:

it pays to have a good drummer..
  10:38am north guinea hills:

the vocals are reminiscent of a young arto lindsey....
  10:40am dc pat:

where are they playing?? tour schedule??
  10:41am jason:

Aug 29 @ Market Hotel, Brooklyn. Hopefully more shows this summer too but nothing confirmed as of yesterday (when this was recorded)
  10:46am dc pat:

oh man, nice choice for a cover..
  10:46am stingy d:

aight tho... i gots to jet. time for breffist. all a ya'll stay doin the do. brock otrauma!!!
  10:48am dc pat:

later d.
  10:52am matteo:

yo, great show
  10:53am dc pat:

yeah, that was one of the best live shows I've heard on FMU. Good choice Jason.
  10:54am Nancy T.:

woops -- that AA song was actually "The Shot." the label is confusing.
  10:57am jason:

whoop! thanks nancy. i think "the shot" is also about society stinkin
  11:02am Cecile:

If Austin's mom is in the Bush Tetras, does he know how Laura Kennedy is doing? Folks were raising funds for her medical expenses in Minneapolis.
  11:08am panda321:

Great show this morning! Really loved Sediment Club! Also, great show last night!
love, Panda
  11:11am Cecile:

Can you play some 100 Flowers. Not technically No Wave, but they fit the vibe.
  11:11am efd:

(I'm going to post that comment on everyone's playlist whenever I hear this Bare Wires 7")
  11:11am dc pat:

wow, this is all right up my alley. Great show.
  11:12am Cecile:

All right, then efd! that guitar riff is killer.
  11:18am Cecile:

or maybe something from the Left?
  11:31am Dave B in NYC:

Hoppy Kamiyama! Very zappa-esque IMHO
  11:34am dc pat:

jeezus H. keerist, Lance Armstrong just took the yellow jersey....
  11:36am annie:

tour de france is over then? or is that a symbolic lead?
  11:37am dc pat:

current leader, about 18 days to go.
  11:38am ok, then:

i got it...
  11:40am Marshall Stacks:

Even better than 100 Flowers, though less fragrant.
  11:41am dc pat:

oops, I jumped the gun, he missed the yellow jersey by a couple of seconds. Still amazing.

  11:41am jason:

i would've loved to play 100 flowers but couldnt find em on my sprint thru the library, knew where to find the urinals tho!
  11:41am Cecile:

Urinals = good, too!
  11:48am dc pat:

this is like the stuff I heard at the Folklife fest on Sunday here in DC.
  11:49am north guinea hills:

henry kaiser was going all bailey on that track. more cumbia is tre gneisse!
