On books. Just finished The Road by Cormac McCarthy. Brutal but redeaming book about a father and son keeping on and "carrying the light" in a post apocalyptic (?) world. Now reading The Beans Of Egypt Maine what a hoot! Dirt poor simple country folk. Any other good ones I should watch out for?

Just a note to anyone who might be interested and lives in the d'town JC area that there will be an afternoon concert at he JC museum tomrrow featuring local act "Murphy's Lore". As you might imagine it's a belated St. Pat's show- lots of classic Irish songs and tunes and its free...begins at one pm.I can vouch that they're very sweet folks and it'll be good fun.
