  12:06pm

Hi everyone, thanks for joining. Today is multi-themed, or not themed at all if your glass is half empty.
  12:06pm
webhamster Henry:

You're working up to "Miracles" I hope!
  12:06pm
efd:

I saw Yma Sumac at a place called The Ballroom on 28th and 8th something like 15 years ago... she was a trip. She was berating the poor bandleader the whole time, giving him direction like (and this is verbatim) "make sure this is neither too fast nor too slow." I ran into him in the men's room after his show and he just rolled his eyes.
  12:10pm
Liz B.:

What a diva! Thanks for the story, Mr. Funk!

Ponytail is, perhaps, the worst band EVER. I had the misfortune of seeing this abomination when they opened for Battles a couple of years ago. Talk about seeing a room clear out in a hurry. It's like there was a fire in the building.
  12:55pm
Liz B.:

I saw Ponytail this weekend and they were fantastic, the room was completely packed. Perhaps you caught them on a bad night, Fernando.
  12:56pm
bill murray:

yeah, maybe there was a fire in the building.

I found it highly amusing when Glasses Guy had his fingers chopped off by the Feral Kid. Very amusing.

And I keep telling Mohawk Guy that he needs to wear underwear or at least a pair of pants without the ass cut out of them, but he just tells me that underwear slows him down. I don't know what he means, and I don't want to know. There are places even Lord Humungus doesn't want to go...
  2:11pm
