Listener comments!

  3:38pm
Bren:

Irene,
What is playing behind you now (the mic break between the first and second sets)?
  3:41pm
David:

I was wondering the same thing.

Sorry to hear about your family.
  3:48pm
Maggie:

Irene, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss.
  3:52pm
Irene:

Hi everybody!

I wanted to thank you all for the nice comments about my dad last week. It helps to have an outlet like WFMU where I can do a tribute in my own way.

And, in case you didn't hear my backannounce, I played a tape I made at the New Jersey shore one summer, embellished by a string of bells --my own creation for talkover purposes.

Thanks all!

---Irene

hi Irene,

beautiful beautiful show (was listening earlier but computer was off)

so sorry to hear about your parents -- similar happened to my grandparents and later, parents -- both also around the holiday season -- it is never ever "easy" but YES, having some sort of outlet for expression helps so very much

love and light and blessings to you!

"p. s." -- the sounds of the Jersey shore are so wonderful, right here in the coldness of winter!

Barry:

Hi Irene,

I haven't had a chance to listen to your webcast for a while; I just heard your wonderful Christmas program and was sorry to hear about your loss. I hope it's some comfort to know that you have listeners out there who love the show and appreciate all your hard work.

Best wishes from Florida!
