Live sets by Rob Curto and Scott Kettner and their bands, bringing the music of NE Brazil to NYC.

Kettner's Nation Beat, inspired by the high-energy percussion-driven modernized maracatu of the late Chico Science, play first. Then in the last hour of the show, Curto's Forro For All play an upbeat set of forro, a very traditional accordion-and small-percussion-driven dance music they've updated with elements of jazz and improvisation.
