Todd-O-Phonic Todd Show regulars Dirty Fences return to the show to perform what will no doubt be another scorching live set. Don't miss their paen to WFMU and The Three Chord Monte program, "911". Catch Dirty Fences opening up for The Spits at Xanadu on April 9th.
Howlin' Pelle Almqvist, lead singer of The Hives, makes his first return to WFMU since the band's live set on the 12/13/01 edition of Three Chord Monte! Pelle will be chatting with Todd about The Hives resurgence, their 4/12 live performance on the plaza at Rockefeller Center, their new track "Enough Is Enough" and much more.
Kevin Macdonald discusses his excellent new documentary, "One To One: John & Yoko" (Magnolia Pictures) in advance of the April 6th screening at Monty Hall. This film offers background into the planning of this event as well as fantastic footage from the concert itself. It also gives plentiful insight into America in the early seventies. The official release date is April 11th.
Rick Johnson comes on the Todd-O-Phonic Todd show to discuss Record Store Day 2025, which takes place on Saturday April 12th. We will be chatting about some of the new releases as well as the impact of the day on record stores.

John Oates is one half of the bazillion selling pop duo Hall & Oates. Emanating from Philadelphia, John grew up with the Philly radio of the 1960's as exemplified by such DJ's as Jerry Blavat and Georgie Woods. With his partner Daryl Hall he became part of one of what is likely the most popular musical duo of all time. His solo work leans into the blues and folk music that were early influences upon him. John performs at Sony Hall in Manhattan on April 23rd.
The Peawees formed in 1995 in La Spezia, Italy. Their riveting new album, One Ride, is available on Spaghetty Town Records in America. Catch their exciting sounds on April 18th at Our Wicked Lady and on the 19th on The Todd-O-Phonic Todd Show!
Sat. Apr 26th, 3pm - 6pm: Dave Alvin (More info...)
Dave Alvin is best known for his work with The Blasters. The Blasters stormed out of Downey, California in the early 1980's on the basis of such great songs as "Marie Marie", "Border Radio", "American Music" and more. After leaving The Blasters, Dave went on to perform in X and The Knitters, as well as having an illustrious solo career. On 4/12 Liberation Hall Records releases the 5 LP set: "The Blasters: An American Music Story - The Complete Studio Recordings 1979-1985".
