"based on my 1996 school reports" lyrics (let it begin) during her time on report claire's conduct has improved however, she must learn to become self-disciplined and responsible for her own actions

(mathematics) claire can do good work but only when isolated she must learn to concentrate if any real progress can be made

(english) claire has difficulty concentrating on her set tasks she fails to hand in homework and lacks confidence in her own ability

(science) claire continues to be lazy and inattentive in class she cannot hope to improve if she does not try she can't improve if she doesn't try

(music) she finds it difficult to play in time and cannot keep the beat steady

(german) claire is an able pupil who has continued to under perform her poor attitude to work has given a great cause for concern

(history) claire is inconsistent in her approach she needs to put more effort in to her work she has a tendency to take too long and must try harder when problems arise

(religious education) claire's work is very deceptive she allows her coursework to portray herself as incredibly boetian when really she is rational and smart she could do well if she wanted to

(technology) claire wastes far too much time her written projects lack detail and she has not yet gained the computer skills expected for this day and age

(and so to conclude...) to conclude, claire has shown herself to be unable to commit fully to her studies this must change if progress is to be made however, claire may benefit from joining a club or society this is a disgraceful set of reports. disgraceful.

I don't exactly have stage fright, just an intense dislike of being seen. (The one time I abused admin privilege at work was to remove my name from credits on some software). Once on a stage, I don't care

I am actually terrified of roller coasters because of the Dragon Coaster at Playland. I worked at Playland one summer in high school. I was the manager of the women's pool locker room. I was just 16. LOL!

Oh, I'm definitely HSP. I was advanced in school, reading at an early age. I was targeted by classmates because of that and because I was the shortest one in class. Some of the kids also knew that my parents were immigrants and my family was very poor.

I washed dishes at a nursing home at 16 and beyond. It was actually a union job so I made a little more than minimum wage. Money for records, gasoline and weed.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:36pm
Krys O.:

↳ Woo @1:32
Neat! Westchester County owns Playland except for the concession stands. The county was exempt from paying minimum wage which was $3/hour back then. I got something like $2.25 or something. I later got a job at a dry cleaners/commercial laundry and finally got that minimum wage.

Same here. I started talking before I could even "walk like a child" (what's the term?) and I lived in a very bad town with lots of bullies and mafia (or aspiring wise guys). I was too kind for that place and bullied and made fun of all the time. Anyhoo, I am a proud HSP since I have been told i am one by my therapist. It felt so liberating.

Over the course of my life I've used Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to deal with things like anxiety. I also read Alan Watts about Zen. One thing that really helped me is knowing that we convince ourselves we are one way or another, when just as easily we can convince ourselves that we are the opposite like deciding that I can be brave. I've faced a lot of adversity with this concept. A very good friend once described me as fearless. It made me chuckle.

Rust looks cool, but I guess that's only because I never had to deal with it. I like the acknowledged imperfection of C++

She's doing great (thanks for asking). The vet surgeon called her a Bad Ass, recovering faster than expected. She's eating on her own, more playful (like her old self), is bossing around the puppy (who's three times her size), had her feeding tube pulled early. We're so pleased with her (she did have 40% of her tongue removed-the biopsy report is that margins are clean, what you need in cancer surgery),.
