We go back to the same place a few days later for dinner, and I ask the waiter for "that amazing hot sauce from Ridgewood." "What?" he says, "We only ever have Frank's. You want some?" So there I am, using Frank's like a child being punished for wanting too much. It tasted like the sea Icarus plunged into after flying too close to the sun: salty and boring and shameful. I look online. I ask around. No one has heard of this hot sauce. O Lenore, Lenore! Nevermore? Nevermore?

We go back to the same place a few days later for dinner, and I ask the waiter for "that amazing hot sauce from Ridgewood." "What?" he says, "We only ever have Frank's. You want some?" So there I am, using Frank's like a child being punished for wanting too much. It tasted like the sea Icarus plunged into after flying too close to the sun: salty and boring and shameful. I look online. I ask around. No one has heard of this hot sauce. O Lenore, Lenore! Nevermore? Nevermore?
