We had another one while opening up for The Stranglers at Irving Plaza. They threw stuff at us and drinks(thank God we didnt get electrocuted while playing our electric guitars!) Then the next nite we had to open for them again. I said to the Band, “how are we gonna survive this?” Our brilliant lead singer came up with the solution!! She told the Band to look as “tough” as we could and no smiling. That won the crowd over. They actually wanted an encore!!

We had another one while opening up for The Stranglers at Irving Plaza. They threw stuff at us and drinks(thank God we didnt get electrocuted while playing our electric guitars!) Then the next nite we had to open for them again. I said to the Band, “how are we gonna survive this?” Our brilliant lead singer came up with the solution!! She told the Band to look as “tough” as we could and no smiling. That won the crowd over. They actually wanted an encore!!
