Not really, I do work at a music research institute called IRCAM that is involved in contemporary music, but I'm a mere tech on the research side so not part of that at all.
I'm a fan of contemporary dance though, probably why I ended up working there

Have you heard of the Dutch choreographer Nanine Linning? She ran the Heidelberg Dance Company 2012-2018. I watched every show. The movements, the concept, the well-chosen music, were touching a chord in me that I didn't know existed. After a show, I didn't want to get up from my seat. I wanted to live eternally in that bubble of bliss.

No, I don't think I ever saw her. Dance travel schedules can be weird. She seems established, but dance shows in Paris usually only last a few days, might not be worth the travel.
My dance origin story is pretty stupid: I was into a dancer, went to see dance shows to impress her. That backfired as I fell in love with contemporary dance, which she despised.
