I have most of my radio archives, with some glaring omissions in the early years. It was harder to record your shows, in a pre-digital world, unless you were paying attention and remembered to turn the tape over... or if you could afford tapes in the first place.

My parents were cool in their own way. My dad liked Donovan, and my mom was in a cover band, that did all Psyche-rock stuff, when she was in High School. (She even got to open for Heart.) So they are cool for their era. But they just aren't very interested in the stuff that came after their era.

Should we all share our first bands? Cappuccino Hallucinations rehearsed once but never played a show. ACRONYM played three shows, just me on bass, playing over tapes of samples. Cathead was the band that probably counts the most; we played 20 shows in the 90s, all original annoying punk songs, playing around Eugene. Most of it should not be heard by anyone.
