The black-on-gold mainly starts with F-J, and the new ones are K and up. Mainly. And somehow there are still a few of the old A-E ones around. (Fun game: spotting the fake license plates that are being used in TV projects because they are out of sequence for their pattern.) Michigan has a whole confusing panoply of plates that I assume they charge different amounts of money for, but yeah, there are a ton of them. PURE MICHIGAN. Seeing a Nova Scotia license plate at a rest area in Ohio was kind of a personal peak. We have seen Manitoba and Alberta fairly often and Saskatchewan a few times. And British Columbia once. Also Puerto Rico once, and we totally flipped our gourds, and the driver was super cool and totally got it.

I saw it first!" "No you didn't! You didn't call it out!" "Maaaaaahm!" [Upstate NY accent] Yeah, it usually broke down after 10 minutes. But I still notice odd states.

Ohio and PA also have tons of specialty plates. NM finally changed, sort of reversing the polarity. Indiana and South Carolina have a lot of specialty plates, and they're all bad.

The black-on-gold mainly starts with F-J, and the new ones are K and up. Mainly. And somehow there are still a few of the old A-E ones around. (Fun game: spotting the fake license plates that are being used in TV projects because they are out of sequence for their pattern.) Michigan has a whole confusing panoply of plates that I assume they charge different amounts of money for, but yeah, there are a ton of them. PURE MICHIGAN. Seeing a Nova Scotia license plate at a rest area in Ohio was kind of a personal peak. We have seen Manitoba and Alberta fairly often and Saskatchewan a few times. And British Columbia once. Also Puerto Rico once, and we totally flipped our gourds, and the driver was super cool and totally got it.
