	♥ 10:41am YETI BOB: If you're walking from Dusty to the W.P. Reckless, you'll go right past Shuga Records with their big neon joint sign ("Highly Recommended"), it's not my favorite shop but since you'll be passing by you might as well pop in.
	♥ 10:42am YETI BOB: Window-shop at Myopic Books, pop into the Wormhole for a coffee or go to Dove Luncheonette for some cocktails and good food. That's a perfect Wicker Park afternoon IMO
	♥ 10:44am Handy Haversack: Got the very last of those Polish cassettes! ChukAmok: Fantastic. They were so fucking on. Intense, fiery, fun, long set to a super-enthusiastic crowd. Maybe quite a lot of snow on the hills in the audience, but there were definitely some younger people out there. On a personal level, for me, it was really powerful to see them again. They were one of those formative bands in HS I saw a ton (bless you, Atlanta, for all-ages shows, if nothing else). Lots of life lived since then, so I was really feeling the connections. And it turned out the opening band had musical and friendship connections, so I actually got to meet Doug from the Connells afterward and thank him for the music and all he's done for me, which I love LOVE to be able to do with musicians who have really meant something to me for a long time. It was a very emotional night, really good for me after a rough start to the evening.

	10:56am sphere: The hard part of this Bandcamp/Epic news is that it makes no sense. My main fear is that they are going to transform it into some sort of "creators platform" in an attempt to take Apple and Google down, and when they fail, Bandcamp (or what's left of it) will be dismantled.

Before long, people were uploading every little burp & fart they recorded and it started to feel very disposable. ...whereas bandcamp was more for finished, album-type content. Seemed to encourage more discipline, which is nice.

	♥ 10:44am Handy Haversack: Got the very last of those Polish cassettes! ChukAmok: Fantastic. They were so fucking on. Intense, fiery, fun, long set to a super-enthusiastic crowd. Maybe quite a lot of snow on the hills in the audience, but there were definitely some younger people out there. On a personal level, for me, it was really powerful to see them again. They were one of those formative bands in HS I saw a ton (bless you, Atlanta, for all-ages shows, if nothing else). Lots of life lived since then, so I was really feeling the connections. And it turned out the opening band had musical and friendship connections, so I actually got to meet Doug from the Connells afterward and thank him for the music and all he's done for me, which I love LOVE to be able to do with musicians who have really meant something to me for a long time. It was a very emotional night, really good for me after a rough start to the evening.
