I had to step off the B Lux train when we were still in Uptown Soulville Due to Daughter pick up, conversation with my daughter, lunch with my daughter etc.

Then I flag down the train, jump back on, to find Nashville by razor blades turn it up.

Not sure what area of the area I’m blowing through, but I can certainly jump around to it.

Saw the Sparks documentary this past Saturday in Philly. It's 141 minutes, so it's not for any casual fan, but they hit EVERY last of their 25 albums individually, even the "flops", and timeline setbacks and disappointments. Regrets? They've had a few.

C’mon folks. The ultimate Kentucky colonel has got to be the good doctor, Hunter S Thompson. And also his buddy, great understudy and realistic impersonator (and guitarist I’m told) Johnny Depp. I was surprised to find that Depp wrote the introduction to a Woody Guthrie novel.
Another Kentuckian comes to mind who, by all rights does probably tower over all others. That being of course The Greatest, Muhammad Ali.
Anybody see the recent doc Freak Power? I refuse to pay Amazon to do so.
Damn, I wish so bad Hunter was around today to write about the farce of dystopian, dysfunctional politics of the 21st century. But I think he had enough after the re-election of the Bush Baby to make his exit on his own terms.
