I believe an autoharp has buttons that play chords, you don't finger notes to form them. A zither looks similar, but no buttons, you use fingers to make chords, similar to a guitar.

Did you know Orson Welles also created a bunch of radio episodes of The Third Man, called The Adventures of Harry Lime (UK)/The Lives of Harry Lime (US)? I think Welles only wrote a handful, but I think there were about 60 episodes. Just listened to one of them a couple nights ago.
